Divorced women have started a new trend for burning their wedding dresses as part of the moving on process, and inviting friends round to toast marshmallows on the bridal bonfire.

After a nasty breakup, this woman got closure with a 'Trash the Dress' photo shoot.

Chrissy Blake, a nutritionist from Massachusetts, poured alcohol on her $1,400 gown and set it ablaze to officially celebrate her split.
