It's not hard to see that MAGA-GOP is becoming a secessionist movement. We could face the unthinkable of two United States and two presidents. Today's Biden-Xi meeting was historic. The shift in tone and substance is breathtaking. Contrast the posture here vs the first US-China meetings at the start of the Biden administration, and things have shifted 180 degrees. For starters, no imminent threat of China attacking Taiwan, a serious commitment from both sides to tone down the rhetoric and not "veer into conflict," a commitment to never fight a nuclear war, and agreeing to oppose nukes in Ukraine.
