बड़ौत में श्रुत देवी सरस्वती की प्रतिमा का लोकार्पण 20.1.16

विद्या की सोलह देवियों में अपना अहम स्थान रखने वाली श्रुत देवी सरस्वती मां की प्रतिमा बुधवार को बड़ौत के दिगंबर जैन डिग्री कालेज में 'विराजमान' की गई। राजस्थान के जयपुर में विश्व विख्यात मूर्तिकार हरि शंकर शर्मा द्वारा बनाई गई यह प्रतिमा विश्व में इकलौती चतुर्भुज प्रतिमा है। अभी तक 8वीं से 11वीं शताब्दी तक खड़गासन प्रतिमाएं ही दुनिया में हैं। पूर्व राज्यसभा सांसद डा. जेके जैन ने प्रतिमा का लोकार्पण किया। जैन आगमों व जैन साहित्यों में श्रुत का अर्थ श्रवण किया हुआ सम्यक ज्ञान बताया गया है।
