Well,
I tidied up a bit, and actually took some photos! I'm no photographer,
and there are some wonky angles in there, but this is it, this is my
home...not all of it, but some little glimpses
anyway...warts/artex/clutter and all! I felt it was about time. (Note to
self...need new bulb for fly light).
Thank you for all your get well wishes! I wish them back to those of you who are also feeling yukky. xx

Lou xx
oh i remember your home from ages ago, and i thought it was pretty snazzy back then! it looks really beautiful Kerry. so together! and TIDY!!!!! however do you manage THAT??
ReplyDeletealso in which period was the house built?
Oh my your place is so beautiful..so many great details, especially hanging on the wall...just wonderful Kerry
ReplyDeleteThanks for the house tour, I really like your style!! The green set of drawers in your office, is that a flea market find or can you actually buy them somewhere?
ReplyDeleteLovely Kerry! Everything looks impeccable, how do you do it???
ReplyDeleteI really like the Dalla horse print, where's that from?
i believe you tidied up A LOT! or maybe bertie's not old enough to be causing complete destruction yet! so super clean and tidy and such a great place, i love it. love the burger print. and is that orange pendant lamp from heals? if so i have my eye on it for our kitchen. v cosy and stylish. x
ReplyDeletep.s. lovely to see my octons in your home too.
it's so beautiful! love your style!
ReplyDeletei like all of the walls!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks everyone...what a lovely response!
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest...our house is NEVER usually so tidy...these were exceptional circumstances!
Lou...so we do have the same sideboard...I notice yours has one extra cupboard than ours! It is probably my favourite thing in the house. The Dala horse print is actually some framed fabric (that I'm wondering is old Ikea) I found it in a charity shop in its frame for £5!
Deb...'twas a charity shop find, but I think the fabric may be an old Ikea one, though not 100% sure.
Nath...believe me...the place is usually a complete tip! Our house is a mid-seventies semi, so it suits our style and has nice big windows.
AnnaG...the drawers are a very new addition, and they were found at a garage sale locally, so I'm not sure where they came from, sorry.
Francesca...yes, you're right...I tidied up A LOT! Took a loooong time! Bertie is a very destructive little boy already, and usually I am stepping over paths of debris! The light is a Kartell one, that yes I think you can get in Heals. We got ours from Graham and Greene. Love the Octons...plus....did you spot your 'Autumn' print in there too??
It looks great! I love that black unit with the records (and decorating magazines?).
ReplyDeleteCassie, yes, we have hundreds of records, and those are decorating mags...mostly Living etc!
ReplyDeleteReally cosy home you have! Lots of beautiful details. Love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect! Your home looks great.
ReplyDeleteOooh I love your house - gorgeous. We're very envious! Have been meaning to do the same thing for ages but ours is never tidy enough to shoot now Ru is 2 he causes even more havoc! Plus even tidy it's not a patch on this! x

ReplyDeletecould you tell me where the black cow poster is from? and this last thingie (don't know how to call it-mobile?) with a bear? did you do it yourself?

Hi Eva,
ReplyDeleteThe black cow poster was actually one that was made for a local even...on billboards etc, and we managed to save a copy, so unfortunately you can't buy it anywhere. It's fab though isn't it?!
And the bear mobile, was from Etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/JoleeCo i'm not sure they have any at the moment, but worth contacting them. Thanks for your nice comment :)
