Here are some pics of our Easter Saturday (cold and miserable but the weather cooperated just long enough for the EE Hunt) with the kids. A few weeks later on a much warmer day they came out to visit and play. It was such a nice day that we got out the 4-wheelers, scooters, Little Jeffy, etc., and just generally had a fun time!
Brayden:
What a show off! HAHAHA...something I probably would have done in my younger days!
Miss Lexie:
Mmmmm...you can see her salivating...whether you want to or not...She was most interested in getting as much candy as possible in her mouth without mommy seeing!
And Miss McKenzie:

Sister Retreat Stitching Projects
Oh we had so much fun at our Sister's Retreat last month! Here's a picture of what we punched while there. When we saw TerriBoog's bird on the oil can we really got our panties in a wad! So stinkin' fun! For a time I was on eBay buying up all the cute oil cans I could find. I finally had to slap my hands from getting on eBay for a while. I still have about 5 oil cans sitting on my countertop. They are a new obscession for me. I punched another bird for Kim, my daughter-in-law for Easter.
Cari had given Joan and I this beautiful punch project for Christmas in 2008 called "Winterberries" and Joan was punching it in Florida. It was working up so cute, so I came home and punched mine up in just a few short days. It was so much fun to get away from cross-stitching and just mindlessly punch my brains out!
The itch to stitch came back pretty quickly. Here's my progress on Paradise Lost.
I guess that's all for today. I do have some fun Easter pics of my little grandbabies that I'll post next time. Have a great week and if you're a stitcher or crafter or scrapbooker, I hope you find the time you want to enjoy what you do!

Well, It's About TIME!
Sorry people...been MIA. I don't know why...just takin' time off I guess! Actually, I have a new computer and figuring out all the picture things has been weird. That's not to say that I haven't been busy. Last month Joan and I went to the Sister's Retreat at Carolyn's in Florida. What a FABULOUS time we had. Always over way too soon though. Here are a few pictures of us! We stitched, stitched, and stitched. Did a whole lot of just spending time together.
Here we are at Rainbow's End; a fabulous quilt store in Dunedin. This place is a regular stop when we go to Florida.
I spent most of my travel $$ at this store buying oodles and oodles of fabulous hand-dyed silk ribbons. I don't know what I'm going to do with them all but I'm sure I'll enjoy them for a long time to come! Actually, I get looking at this picture and realize that I bought much more than this...I hadn't made it to the register at this point in the shopping trip.
Here is a picture of us at Carolyn's "Sisters Meet and Greet" Carolyn had a little stitching open house for us and all her stitching friends on Saturday afternoon. It was SO MUCH FUN meeting all of her stitching friends! What a memorable event it was! I enjoyed meeting all her friends. What a fabulous bunch of ladies! We had Cari's "fabulous Mormon Salad", a broccoli salad, and a grape salad. Yum Yum! Fun times! Joan made our fabulous aprons!
Cari and Cherie!
Here I am after too many fun days in a row! A little case of the "vapors" LOL!

And here is our "Hostess with the Mostest" Ms Cari in front of her fabulous Blackbird Sampler Wall! Oh how I love all those beautiful pieces Cari!
Thank you so much for a fabulous time sister!
I ♥ U!
Next post will be "things I've been stitching, punching, and finishing!"
