This hanging pot holder hails from France and is made from beaten copper. Note the fish motif that runs around the edge.
Amazing Capodimonte centrepieces. Capodimonte as the name suggests comes from Italy. I think these are the largest and most ornate pieces I have ever had. My favourite is the flower basket above. Made from fine porcelain they are so so over the top but in the right setting they would look truly amazing.
Capodimonte porcelain actually dates back centuries. The first pieces by this company were produced in Naples from 1759 to 1780 at the Royal Factory, according to the Capodimonte website. These pieces date from probably the 1960's if the families memories are correct.
Ornate candle holder, one of a pair.
I love the classic Capodimonte fruit stands.
While I was at the nursery I was lucky to meet a lovely blog lurker....Veronica and her friend Moira. Hi Veronica...it was great to meet you both.
Hope you are all having a good start to the week.
