Spooky Starry Bokeh Dots & Trees

Quick share of a Super CAS card featuring the Bokeh Dots stars in Night of Navy with black Lovely as A Tree trees...

But before I start on more details for this card... Please don't forget to order your Watercolor Pencils Set 2 and the Blended Seasons bundle... now only available for about 36 hours ie until 10.30pm UK time tomorrow, 31 August... and yes you still get your £4.50 free Bonus Days coupon ... for every £45 ordered... to spend in September... Click here for more details...

Moon added care of a 3/4" circle punched post it note... placed prior to masking the horizon... and then stamping that Bokeh Dots sky... and then all the masks removed...Oh and (coming very soon!) Frost White Shimmer Paint added with a Sponge Dauber to the moon... lovely shiny moon!
Could have added snow to my trees using Shimmery White Embossing Paste... or stamped and embossed white trees on the centre section... but thought it all looked spooky enough to pass as a card for Halloween instead... greeting care of Itty Bitty Greetings

Love this starry sky in Night of Navy... so reckon there will be a christmas version before September is out!

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...

So whilst we made this Swing Easel card...we had to keep the Twinkle Builder punched out parts to make this simple card...

Another 5 1/2" Square (or 14cm Square) card blank to keep things constant for class prepping...

With the 13.5cm (5 1/4") starry Twinkle Twinkle papers adhered to the front of the card... and then the largest Layering Squares aperture cut out (7.3cm/2 7/8") in the centre
And a Tip for you if you struggle to eyeball cutting a square in the centre like this... draw diagonal lines from each corner... intersecting at the centre... your eyes will start to behave then!!!

White embossed Little Twinkle greeting...

Stuck to a 7.8cm/3 1/8" Square Whisper White panel... and then the square carefully stuck to the top of the hole...
And another Tip for you... as the line around the aperture on the top of the card... neatly defined the area that no glue should go over...

Finished off with the punched Whisper White moon and stars.. with a trio of  Twinkle Adhesive Backed star Sequins to add a touch of sparkle to finish it all off...

Waterfront Wednesday... In the Moonlight...

Another variant of the Waterfront card posted here... with the add of the clear moon to light the way... just heat embossed using Clear Embossing Powder... before silver embossing those trees ...

And this one is created on Shimmery White cardstock... which I do personally like for watercolouring...
I should have posted the other week with the other card... but when I came to the photos late at night for that post... this card was no where to be found...

And here are the 2 together... definitely prefer this moon version... so I had to share...

Featuring the Delightful Daisy papers again for the front and centres... with Fresh Florals for the back...

Note that the Tranquil Tide tree on the front is stamped again for texture with the Background Bits stamp and it is popped onto a Silver Glimmer tree so it has a snow line...

Reason For The Season Fir Trees!?

This was one of those...I wonder if... moments...
I was just clearing away after the last card class of the year...and an idea popped into my head for the Reason For The Season poinsettia petals stamps...
So I tried it... And I LOVE what resulted...
Very contemporary fir trees.... using the 3 sizes of petals... all finished off with lots of Signo gel pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to ensure a snowy scene...

And whilst I was there I made a couple more versions of cards using this simple little snowy scene...

The first with more white...
The second on a Swing Easel card... clean and un-adulterated!

I just had to make another Box Frame card with my Sleigh Ride dies...

This one has a few more layers...so again a depth that just works so well set in a Box Frame...
And this one was ripe for extra frontage... so it has a cover too...

And seeing as it is Friday...
Here is the Tutorial for a Covered Box Frame Card for you...

2. Cut a piece of matching cardstock to 27.2 x 13cm (11" x 5 1/4")
3. Score LANDSCAPE piece at 13cm (5 1/4") from each side
4. Bone Fold
5. Adhere back of Box Frame to inside back (do not glue down the spine!)

Sleigh Ride Big Moon Card

Love this card... as did everyone!
Everyone had this in their Top 3 of the 10 cards they made... yes 10... this die is that good for a stunning but simple card... So... right up my CAS street... and still fabulous for my Fancy Fold street too!!
Both the ribbon and non-ribbon (for bulk make/postal) version...
This card was well and truly inspired by this stunning card made by Irina Kozar. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us all Irina...

This is a card I first pinned over 3 years ago... and I liked it so much that I must have repinned it 20 times before Pinterest started to tell me I had already pinned it... I do so like that newish feature!
