- Windshear is a Mini-Con from the Generation 1 continuity family (via the Generations toyline).
Windshear (aka Windsheer) is the Mini-Con Assault Team's combat support. Her helicopter mode's stealth capabilities render her undetectable in combat, allowing her to sneak up on a target and strike before they even know what's happening. She can combine with Runway and Heavytread into Centuritron.
Windshear's nature varies. Incarnations of her across the multiverse include Micromasters, Mini-Cons, and Ammonites.

Beast Wars: Uprising
On post-war Cybertron, Windsheer was one of many Micromasters stationed at Fortress Maximus in the Decepticon city Tarn. During a battle between the Builders and the Resistance, Windsheer broke away from the main battle with Lio Convoy's force and confronted intruders trying to enter Fortress Maximus. She and Bulge engaged Buzzclaw, but the Predacon took them out with a flak canister. Head Games

- Part of the eighth wave of Generations Deluxe Class toys, Thrilling 30 Windshear transforms into a green-and-black helicopter. She comes with a minigun that can peg underneath her cockpit and onto her arms via 5 mm post. She comes with Heavytread and Runway, and all three can combine into the mighty Centuritron, with her weapon helping to form the combined robot's combined weapon. Unfortunately, Windshear has a design flaw in that her cockpit is attached with a joint that makes it pop off almost every time the figure is transformed or combined. Her free-spinning rotor can be a hindrance for Centuritron (if the blades are able to get through Windshear's panels on the back of her arms), though not to a major extent.
- Tampographed on her helicopter tail is the alphanumeric marking "7H37A", which in turn stands for the Greek letter "Theta".
- She also comes with a copy of "Into the Abyss: Dark Cybertron Chapter 4".
Generations (Japan)
- The TakaraTomy version of Windshear, part of the fourteenth wave of Japanese Generations toys, notably bears the English spelling "Windsheer". This version is also shinier, casting her plastics in darker, metallic shades, and featuring additional silver paint details on her toes and canopy, among other deco changes. Her stock photography erroneously depicts her being cast in the same glossy, non-metallic plastic as the Hasbro version.
