Toys
Generations
- Mini-Con Assault Team (Mini-Con, 2014)
- Series/Number: 02 / #013
- Accessories: Thrusters
- Known designers: Joe Kyde (Hasbro)
- Part of the eighth wave of Generations Deluxe Class toys, Thrilling 30 Runway transforms into a green-and-black jet fighter with over-sized turbines. These over-sized turbines separate to become an arm-mounted weapon that can mount on either of his arms via 5mm post. He comes with Heavytread and Windshear, and all three can combine into the mighty Centuritron, with his weapon helping to form the combined robot's combined weapon. Runway also features a soft plastic nosecone for safety reasons.
- His official stock photos as well as all promotional artwork depict him with yellow highlights on his weapon/jet exhausts. The actual toy features a completely unpainted weapon/exhaust accessory cast in black plastic.
- Tampographed next to his cockpit is the alphanumeric marking "VP51LN", which in turn stands for the Greek letter "Upsilon" (or "Ypsilon").
- He also comes with a copy of "Into the Abyss: Dark Cybertron Chapter 4".
Generations (Japan)
- The TakaraTomy version of Runway, part of the fourteenth wave of Japanese Generations toys, is noticeably shinier, casting his plastics in darker, metallic shades, and featuring additional silver paint details on his knees and wing edges, among other deco changes. His stock photography erroneously depicts him being cast in the same glossy, non-metallic plastic as the Hasbro version. He lacks the comic.
