Turrets are a weapon used by the Decepticlone army from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

The Turret is a stationary weapon mount used by the Decepticlone army. The turret is usually installed in strategic locations, ensuring that a perimeter can be established to prevent any pesky Autobots from causing too much of a ruckus. Firing off several audible blasts at once, anyone being targeted by a turret will be well aware of the danger they're in. Despite being primarily manned by Medium Units, the player is more than free to hop on and fire away. While not the deadliest weapon in the Decepticlone arsenal, caution should be taken to not be whittled down by these ranged batteries in the midst of combat.

Turrets appear exclusively in the Pacific Island level. They're fortunately not too much of a threat, as firing an explosive at a turret is likely to send its operator flying off. It's recommended to destroy turrets to prevent Medium Units from hopping on and continuing their attack against you. Transformers
