The Trion is a fine ship, top of the line in the Autobot fleet, and bristling with weaponry, advanced shield generators, and sophisticated interfaces that allow its crew to jack into the ship itself for maximum maneuverability. Kup first got his hands on the Trion after assembling his crew aboard a Wrecker ship. Spotlight: Drift Shortly afterwards, the ship's communications were cut off from all other Autobots, and couldn't even reach the Command Hub. The chase ended with the Trion led into a Decepticon ambush and rendered helpless as a result of its command codes having been sold to the enemy by an Autobot traitor. Several years after Kup's crew left Cybertron by other means, a resurrected Ironhide came across the wreckage of the Trion. After taking out a few Insecticon swarm members living in it, he found that the ship still had energy left... energy he could use in his fight against the swarm. Ironhide activated what remained of the Trion's weapons and turned them on the Insecticons, successfully destroying dozens of the creatures. Unfortunately, many of them dodged the ship's weapons fire and made it inside to Ironhide, who responded by activating the self-destruct system. As Ironhide ejected to safety, the Trion disappeared in a mighty explosion that served to destroy a large chunk of the swarm. Any Old Iron
