Like the Energon article, I edited the "production" notes. They were riddled with opinionated bias that did not properly reflect the success or outcome of the overall product line. Lets keep opinions out of this guys. Armada wasn't a financial failure and plenty of fans, especially kids, bought the hell out of it. -Bodycount

You know Wikipedia encourages such out-sourcing, right? you can set it up an article to live-mirror an article on another wiki? (I think it checks for changes every 24 hours or so.) Legally speaking it's aboveboard- content on other wiki's is public domain. (you know, assumign they didn't just C&P from a non-pd source.)

The latter, really. Especially since this wiki would be more expansive on just about any subject of TFs than the main Wikipedia. Plus, it does discourage C&Ping from non-public-domain stuff.

You pretty much nailed it with the second part, 150.253.70.55. We can legally use Wikipedia's content... but this isn't Wikipedia, and hopefully, we'd like to have articles on this wiki end up being different from ones you'd find there. Wikipedia, as much as it's wonderful, has a very different perspective on TF things than we do here; and not only does it just reflect better on our part if our content is original, but it actually provides a far more useful resource. If someone wants to look at what Wikipedia says about a given subject, then let them go to Wikipedia.

Although as just a side note, Wikipedia or this Wiki aren't public domain: they're released under GFDL, which basically sums up to "you can do whatever you want with it, so long as you let others do the same, and give credit". It's not quite just semantics, since if we wanted to copy Wikipedia content (WE DON'T), it'd have to be credited as such.--Suki Brits 21:29, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

We are not here to work for you, or for him. We are here to work with the both of you. Obviously you feel that these episode summaries are an important thing. However, neither of you apparently feel it is worth putting much of your time or effort into researching the episodes and doing it right. So it's not "our" work any more than we're "making" the "beginner" do all the work. It's just that at this wiki we feel it is wasted effort when we have to fix the mistakes of someone who is plainly not expending the effort to put things into the proper format, use complete sentences, or even use more than one sentence in most cases. Better to leave a summary blank than to put out a halfassed article that looks like the dog's breakfast.

I made some alterations to paragraph 2 of "Criticisms." Someone with no knowledge of sentence structure had written a 50-word-long run-on sentence that wasn't very clear. Subs?

I'd imagine a sub for Micron Legend would be fairly rare because Armada aired here six months ahead of time. There'd be little demand. Same reasons there aren't really any available subs of Beast Wars or Beast Machines. --ItsWalky 00:51, 29 January 2010 (EST)

Do Fansubs count, or are they filed under the "unofficial" blacklist? Would a translation apply? I don't speak Nihon (yet) but I prefer subbed in all capacity; less translation errors (Downshift/Cliffjumper/Wheeljack) and by comparison, english sounds like the grunting of Oxen (in heat). I'm proud to say I've not heard a single line from Superlink in english except for "Check it out, yo!"

On Mini-Cons in the character list

I'm pretty sure that several of the characters listed that keep getting removed DON'T actually show up in the cartoon. Wind Sheer and Zapmaster, for example. I mean, Zapmaster in this universe is just Swindle in new colors. --M Sipher 16:26, 31 May 2010 (EDT)

Part of my reasoning is that if the episode list have the US airdates, why keep "(English)" in each episode article? Bar the ones that have Canadian or UK airdates. I'm partly baffled as to why not list "(*English-speaking country*)" up in the content box if that's where the episode aired first. Because the main concern of the infobox field is when it aired first, not where (and we distinguish between Japanese and English versions in this case because one is relevant to the reader and one is the original version). Missing characters on character list?

A number of characters (especially Mini-Cons) listed under various episodes are excluded from the list here:

Backtrack, Blackout, Bonecrusher, Buzzsaw, Comettor, Crosswise, Crumplezone, Drill Bit, Dualor, Dune Runner, Fetch, Firebot, Gunbarrel, Hoist, Iceberg, Incinerator, Inferno, Jolt, Knock Out, Laserbeak, Leader-1, Liftor, Longarm, Nightbeat, Oceanglide, Oval, Rollbar, Rook, Spiral, Stormcloud, Swindle, Terradive, Thunderwing, Waterlog, Wreckage

Although a lot of them only show up once or twice, some--like Laserbeak, Leader-1 or Bonecrusher--were pretty frequent. Is there a reason they aren't included, or should this be corrected? 98.65.165.88 17:25, 3 January 2011 (EST)

I think it is supposed to be a list of the main cast for the series, so most of those wouldn't be listed. If it is a main cast list it should really have a note to that effect to prevent people from adding "Random mini-con #418 (only visible from the left knee down)" and such. --Khajidha 19:28, 3 January 2011 (EST)

Armada/Micron Legend differences

Shouldn't a paragraph or two on the differences between the English and Japanese dubs be put on the main series page? I mean changes that generally aren't on the episode pages; changes like some scenes using different music tracks, character dialogue edited to be slightly more serious (such as Fred), Armada toning down the violence, character arcs being better fleshed out, certain events and character appearances being set up early before the eventual payoff, and some episodes having character subplots that Armada either dropped or left incomplete. --Starzone (talk) 09:28, 16 September 2020 (EDT)

Clip Shows

The labelled "clip shows" may recycle some animation, but most of those episodes' runtimes are actually devoted to new plot points vital to understanding later episodes. I think that labelling them as clip shows is misleading. They're more like regular episodes with extensive use of flashbacks. The wiki probably won't agree with me, but if you're thinking of watching Aramada and happen to see my post, do not skip those episodes. --User:Leo1452 (talk) 23:35, 27 October 2021 (EDT)

Having some new plot points doesn't make it not a clip show. As we note on the page, the events of clip shows can sometimes drive the plot forward. Besides, nobody's saying the episodes are skippable. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 23:48, 27 October 2021 (EDT)
