Skywarp is upgraded by Megatron's power.

Synopsis

At the Underground Colosseum, a fierce battle rages on, with Megatron as the sure victor. Thundercracker, carrying a wounded Skywarp, begs his leader to save his friend. Curious about the extent of his power, Megatron obliges by forcing his sword into Skywarp and imbuing him with his power. This infusion of energy evolves Skywarp into the vicious Hellwarp. With his newfound abilities, Hellwarp lays waste to the Autobot forces, but internally ponders about the extent of his and Megatron's powers and seeks to rise up in the ranks and overthrow Megatron.

In the meantime, he accompanies Megatron to another universe, where he fights Hellscream and then goes up against Roadbuster and Grimlock, only to be knocked out. He comes to when Thundercracker calls out to him, and the two follow their leaders through a dimension gate. Hellwarp is annoyed at Megatron's continued superiority over the Decepticon ranks and gets Thundercracker to promise to back him up whenever the time comes.
