Swati is a human from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Swati is Sanjay Bharwaney's housekeeper, and takes care of his daughter Serena while he is at work.

Swati was making lunch when she noticed that Serena was nowhere to be seen. She called out for the girl, who showed up from behind a fence and told her she was "talking to a funny car". Believing it to be just one of the strange things that comes out of children's mouths, Swati warned her against playing on people's cars and alerted her to the fact that it was lunchtime soon. As Swati washed the dishes afterwards, she did not notice that Serena snuck out with one of her father's devices. She called the child back inside a while later, as Sanjay was almost home. With Sanjay home, Swati said goodbye to the Bharwaneys and drove home. This was good timing for her, as Skywarp attacked the Bharwaney household a minute later. Wings of Wax
