- Slag is an evil Autobot Dinobot from the Shattered Glass continuity family.
Slag is ugly and stupid. On the other hand, that's what Goryu has to say about him, and his can hardly be believed to be a reliable evaluation.

Fun Publications Shattered Glass continuity
Cliffjumper's reaction upon Goryu's emergence from the Rust Sea bayou's crystals to help Slugfest was "Oh slag..." Goryu believed Cliffjumper mistook him for Slag, which wasn't right, as Slag was ugly and stupid while Goryu was handsome and awesome. The misunderstanding didn't do well for Cliffjumper's case.
Later, Slag would be recaptured by the Autobots, and taken by Grimlock before Omega Terminus, granting him an ember and the ability to transform. Dungeons & Dinobots
