- Seaspray is an evil Autobot from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family.
When no one else can search the dark depths of the ocean, call in Seaspray. Fascinated by Earth's oceans, Seaspray is known to report every detail of them whenever possible, much to the annoyance of his fellow Autobots, who often cut him off. His robot mode form is hunched monstrously, with wide shoulders leading down to arms with deadly claws so huge they reach the ground. His words are distorted with a deep burbling.

When oil tycoon R.J. Blackrock opened his new Mega-Rig, the Autobots attacked, only to be met by Decepticon resistance. Seaspray terrorized the humans attempting to escape in life boats before noticing the Decepticon's female human pet. - A redeco of Cybertron Shortround, Storm Surge transforms into a Sector Seven hovercraft. Inserting a Cyber Key into his key jack swings a pair of (non-firing) torpedo racks up into firing position. This gimmick is available in both vehicle and robot modes. There is also a small, non-firing gun that can be held in either of his claws or can be mounted on the top of his hovercraft mode.
- During transformation, snapping the torso into place forces the head up, making it easier to twist into place. He also has wheels on the underside of his vehicle mode, allowing him to be rolled on smooth surfaces.
- Storm Surge was part of the fourth wave of live-action movie toyline Target-exclusive Scout Class toys (this wave branded with the "AllSpark Power" subline), and was also sold as a Farmers exclusive in New Zealand.
- In 2009, this toy was rereleased in the Walmart Black Friday exclusive Universe "War of the Waves" two-pack as Storm Surge, and was later repurposed as Shattered Glass Seaspray. This mold was also used to make the unreleased 2010 Transformers line Undertow, and was the basis of the non-toy "Theft of the Golden Disk" version of Beast Wars Scorponok.
