Ominus

Ominus is a Decepticon Titan Master from the Titans Return portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Ominus is the Titan Master partner to the thief Sky Shadow. A formidable hacker, Ominus can access the systems of battle stations, space bridges, and even other Transformers.^[1]

Available with Titans Return Sky Shadow, Ominus transforms into a head compatible with any Deluxe-or-larger Titans Return figure. The lower legs were changed to the same dark-grey plastic on Sky Shadow, differing from the all black legs in CGI promotional images.

Ominus was retooled into Titans Return Dreadnaut and Legends Dai Atlas's Headmaster stage.

This card's set was originally set for an April 2020 release, however due to the global COVID-19 pandemic the release was pushed back to May 29, 2020.

Notes

• With Sky Shadow being an obvious pretool of Overlord, Ominus's robot mode is physically modeled on art of Mega, one of Overlord's Godmaster partners, found on the original toy's packaging. However, the Legends incarnations of Mega and Giga use molds different from Ominus and Dreadnaut.
• Ominus has a fairly dismal pun for a name: A shadow in the sky would certainly seem ominous.
