The rebuilding of Godbomber is co-opted by an unexpected foe.
Synopsis
Godbomber was a robot that supported Ginrai throughout the Devil War. It was granted life of its own thanks to the Chōkon Power of Shūta Gō, Cab, and Minerva, but lost that life when the death of Devil Z caused the Masterforce warriors to lose their ability to wield Chōkon Power. Now that they have regained it, a new Bomber Project has begun in the Legends World.
Rhinox is overseeing the construction when Minerva approaches him and requests a look at the design plans, then promptly copies them and turns to leave only to run into the real Minerva! The impostor reveals herself to be Minerva's Legends counterpart, the detective and Masterforce warrior Nightbeat. She explains that she's working for Rewind, who believes Godbomber is the key to understanding Master-Braces, but also the extradimensional Decepticons Curse Armada Thrust and Trickdiamond, who want to use it to conquer this world. Rewind protests against working with Decepticons, but Nightbeat forces him to cooperate, arguing that his request will be fulfilled in the end. Chromedome attempts to stop them, but the Decepticons blast him with Godbomber's weapons before escaping with it. They leave behind some spare parts, however, including the most essential one: Godbomber's main body, a new Headmaster.
Nightbeat's crew bring Godbomber to Decepticon Tera-Kura Co. where they've struck a deal with Weirdwolf's Headmasters, who finish the construction in exchange for its use in enacting Scorponok's will, overthrowing Megatron and conquering the universe. To make up for the missing parts, Nightbeat volunteers to form the head to test the limits of her strength, telling Thrust and Trickdiamond to form the legs. When Super Ginrai arrives to recover his drone, he is challenged to a duel by a Godbomber controlled by Nightbeat, who wants to see if she can defeat even him. Despite employing his new Getmaster powers, Ginrai finds himself overwhelmed and skewered on Godbomber's sword.
Meanwhile, the three Headmaster Juniors hold the hands of Godbomber's Headmaster and commune with the robot like they did once before, allowing it to reactivate and thank them for bringing it back to life. They put together a second Godbomber body and set out to save Ginrai, using the real deal to overpower Nightbeat and combine with Ginrai to form God Ginrai once more. Having learned from Grand why Godbomber is so powerful, God Ginrai explains that it serves to connect all forms of Chōkon Power into one—as such, it's a kind of Master-Brace that connects humans and super robot lifeforms. Nightbeat realizes the answer to the mystery of Master-Braces is that they bridge the gap between organic and robotic life, then has her Godbomber blown to smithereens by God Ginrai's God Fire Cannon.
As Ginrai celebrates his reunion with Godbomber, the defeated Nightbeat brags to Rewind that she did solve the mystery after all... and also acquired technology from Godbomber that will be come in handy for a future project.

Notes
- Nightbeat is a version of Minerva because their shared original toy mold was used for Nightbeat in the west and Minerva in Japan. Incidentally, Minerva herself was called Nightbeat in the Omni Productions Masterforce dub.
- Godbomber was reactivated by the Headmaster Juniors in "Destroy Godbomber!!", and it is here revealed that this event also granted the drone life.
