Hank Kirkpatrick

Hank Kirkpatrick is a human from the Revenge of the Fallen franchise portion of the live-action film continuity family.

"And having said that, I'll go back to work on this project that I think will kill us all."

Though a loyal member of the Initiative, Hank Kirkpatrick has his reservations about their work, namely that they're in danger of destroying Earth and most of the Solar System. He's not afraid to stand up to his boss, Carter Newell, so he must be pretty good at his job to keep it this long. He's in charge of Project Nefarious, an attempt to create a duplicate AllSpark for the Initiative's exclusive use.

As the project neared completion, Kirkpatrick warned Newell that if they didn't keep their creation under control, it could destroy Earth and potentially the surrounding Solar System as well. Nefarious #1 With around eight hours to completion, he likened their work to cavemen attempting nuclear fission, and again warned that without sufficient AllSpark matter, the cube could destroy Earth and four-fifths of the Solar System. Newel told him to relax. Nefarious #2 Newell set about gathering more AllSpark energy while Kirkpatrick drank black coffee and groused about how they were all doomed. Newell labeled him tiresome. As the Initiative gathered more energy from Hoover Dam, Kirkpatrick warned that they had only around another hour to get it infused into the AllSpark cube. When Carter reacted with his usual stoicism, Kirkpatrick exploded and announced they were staring down the barrel of Armageddon. His point was somewhat undercut by Ingrid pronouncing this idea "cool". Nefarious #4 Once the supply from Hoover Dam was absorbed into the cube, it stabilized, allaying Kirkpatrick's fears somewhat. When the Autobot and Decepticon forces attacked the Initiative base, Kirkpatrick looked in vain for Newell, and was informed by Ingrid that he was in Isolation-1. He attempted to control the situation until Newell returned to the control center, but warned his boss that the AllSpark was nearing meltdown. Nefarious #5 As Newell began to draw on the AllSpark's energy, Kirkpatrick realized he was dooming everyone. He seized Newell's arm in an attempt to stop him, but Newell responded by frying him with a burst of energy, reducing him to a charred skeleton. Nefarious #6
