Clear Out

Clear Out is an Autobot from the Wings Universe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

I call upon the power of thunder!

Clear Out is a member of the Artillery Team in the Elite Guard. He is the wingman to his fellow flying upgrade, Windsail, always coming in second best in their friendly competitions. Clear Out doesn't seem to mind—he's willing to fight back-to-back with Windsail in the bar rooms or the unfriendly skies. Although not as fast as his wingman, Clear Out can carry more ammunition, and often joins their squad leader Halonix Maximus on aerial strike runs.^[1]

After the disappearance of the Combaticons, the Artillery Team and the Recon Team were assigned to a search and rescue mission to locate any signs of the missing Elite Guardsmen. A Team Effort They needn't have worried. Clear Out and the other Elite Guard teams were present at headquarters when the Combaticons attacked on behalf of their new master, the Decepticon Warlord named Deathsaurus. • Clear Out's color scheme is based on the Red Dragon Thunderzord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (adapted from Ryuuseioh of Gosei Sentai Dairanger), of which colorist Josh Perez was a fan.^[2]
