Aerialbot (PCC)

The Aerialbots are a series of Autobot drones from the Power Core Combiners portion of the movie continuity family.

The Aerialbots are the first of the new Autobot Power Core drone teams. They have been assigned to the modest Skyburst, who uses the drones to enhance his own abilities for dangerous search and rescue missions.

The Aerialbots include:

Part of the first wave of Power Core Combiners 5 Packs, the Aerialbot drones are a pack of made-up air vehicles (they have elements of different real craft, but really, none of these actually exist) that came with their Commander Skyburst. Each one automatically transforms from vehicle to limb when attached to a PCC connector peg, and re-convert to vehicle when detached. They can be attached to any Commander figure, though they can only be used as a single limb-type:

• Chopper Drone — Arm (Skyburst's left)
• Combat Helicopter Drone — Leg (Skyburst's right)
• Fighter Jet Drone — Leg (Skyburst's left)
• Recon Plane Drone — Arm (Skyburst's right)

The Aerialbot molds were also used to make components for two other Power Core Combiner teams: the Recon Plane Drone and Combat Helicopter Drone molds were used for the Destrons, while the Fighter Jet Drone and Chopper Drone were used for the Protectobots. Later, the entire set was redecoed into Jetmaster's drone limbs.

This Toys"R"Us value pack includes Skyburst, Searchlight, the Aerialbots, and Backwind, all for the nominal cost of the Skyburst set alone.

Notes

• The Fighter Jet Drone appears to be colored in homage to Skydive, and the Combat Helicopter Drone looks a lot like Whirl.
