I was trained as an experimental physicist, but spend most of my time teaching classical and applied physics to engineering students. Therefore, I get help in the TeX forum to prepare materials for students, and give help in the physics forum based on my experience as a lecturer. Consequently, my answers are geared towards students and explain basic physics, which means I care much less about deep theoretical questions about principles that are prevalent on StackExchange.
