What packages provide text/command substitution for LaTeX, XeTeX and LuaLaTeX?
I am aware of the following:
xesearch - Allows both text and command substitution. Only for XeLaTeX
Simple example:
\usepackage{xesearch}
\SearchList{list1}{Hello}}{hlw}
Any time "hlw" is present ...
