  • When that hot weather arrives in the sunny south of England

I’m not sure if I’m the only one, but when the warmer and hot weather arrives in the sunny south of the country I cannot bring myself to sit indoors stitching.

    My little English garden

It is too hot and sticky to even hold a needle and these lovely warm evenings sitting out on the deck with the family having alfresco dinner just doesn’t inspire me to head back indoors to stitch.

There is also all the gardening and watering that is needed in the garden, so for the past couple of months, I have not achieved much on my stitching projects.

As stitching has taken a more backward seat on my achievements and my gardening has filled me with happiness with the reward of blooms and colour all over the garden.

I thought I would share a little bloom and colour from the garden until I get back indoors to my stitching!
