Dragon's Crown is a game where you play as a large-chested amazon woman. There's other playable characters as well in this side-scrolling beat 'em up dungeon crawler, with a disembodied voice narrating the proceedings.

Version 1.01

Released on August 23, 2013.

  • Improved network stability during online multiplayer.
  • It's now possible to uncover hidden items by moving the finger cursor over their location.
  • Hotkeys for items were added (L1 on PS3 and L on Vita).
  • Dagger and Bomb items can be thrown diagonally with Up and Triangle.
  • An option was added to Morgan's item shop that can now fix all items at once.
  • An option was added to allow the player to select which area to be matched in for online multiplayer.
  • Arrow drops will increase depending on how many Elf characters are in the current party.
  • Inventory Rune visibility has been improved, especially when the player is near the bottom of the screen.
  • Various other improvements were made.

Version 1.02

Released on September 18, 2013.

  • Added an option to join random online games in the Labyrinth of Chaos.
  • A triangular cursor was added to the bottom of the screen for better player visibility.
  • As a wizard, charging MP when it is already at maximum will now increase overall magic power.
  • When playing on PS3, story progression will be saved for all characters when playing an offline multiplayer game.
  • Whenever a network error occurs, the game will continue in the same stage instead of returning to town.
  • When playing as an Amazon, a successful parry will raise berserk level by 1. Also the Necksplitter attack can now be cancelled.
  • Adjustments have been made to various skill effects of all character classes.
  • Improved gameplay stability and made other minor improvements.

Version 1.03

Released on October 3, 2013.

  • Further improved network stability during online multiplayer.
  • An option was added to hide the triangular cursor that was introduced in version 1.02. It can either be hidden for select characters, all characters, or no characters.
  • An option was added to display damage values only for characters that are player-controlled.
  • When playing as an Amazon or Fighter, equipment durability now takes less damage when guarding.
  • When playing as an Amazon, the berserk effect has been rebalanced.
  • Improved gameplay stability and made other minor improvements.

Version 1.04

Released on October 15, 2013.

  • Added cross-play for co-op and versus play.

Version 1.05

Released on December 20, 2013.

  • Added a new Ultimate difficulty level. It is unlocked when the ninth floor of the Labyrinth of Chaos is cleared and can be selected at the Canaan Temple.
  • The level cap is raised from 99 to 255 once Ultimate difficulty is unlocked.
  • When playing in Ultimate, the Labyrinth of Chaos becomes the Tower of Mirages.
  • Item shortcuts can now be assigned and used separately.
  • Damage values were changed to display as a accumulated total instead of per-hit.
  • An option was added where characters can become transparent when they are overlapping each other.
  • When playing a save file that has cleared story mode, it is now possible to skip the first quests that lead to the Talisman collection. Also, guild quests that were cleared can now be skipped in subsequent playthroughs.
  • Various character class skills have been adjusted.
  • Adjustments were made to NPC behavior.
  • Adjustments were made to rules and effects for equipment, items and skills in the Colosseum.

Version 1.06

Released on February 5, 2014.

  • Elemental lore changes were reverted to their previous state in version 1.04.
  • Various abnormal status effects from equipment have been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue during online multiplayer where players on a higher floor in some dungeons were being matched to players on a lower floor.
  • Camera behavior has been changed to provide better views.
  • Improved gameplay stability and made other minor improvements.

Version 1.07/1.08

Brings the game in line feature-wise with Dragon's Crown Pro for PS4. Released on February 8, 2018 as version 1.07 for Japanese players. Released on March 22, 2018 as version 1.08 for international players.

  • Adds cross-play and cross-save between PS3, PS Vita and PS4.
  • It's now possible to rename bags.
    • In order to accommodate this feature in the game's saved data, the max number of skeletons that can be stored at the temple was decreased from 32 to 28. Slots 29 and above were deleted upon updating.
  • Added the ability to filter items by effect in the equipment menu.
  • Information on talisman collection, current floor and floor reward is now displayed in the pause menu while on an adventure.
  • The Character Name's Edit Type screen now displays each setting value.
  • Resetting skills at the Adventurers Guild has been adjusted:
    • It's now possible to include "Deep Pockets" in the reset.
    • If the same skill is gained again immediately after a reset, the corresponding skill item is returned to the bag automatically.
  • It's now possible to batch sell items at the Magic Show.
  • Rate of which goods appear in the shop was adjusted.
  • For the Ultimate difficulty setting, some of the enemies' special effects were adjusted.
  • While editing type, the maximum rotation degree was increased to 180 degrees.
  • Some character tutorials have been improved.
  • Camera behavior was adjusted.
  • Damage display and Rune Selection UI positioning can now be adjusted in the Options menu.
  • The Atlus logo at startup was changed to the current one.
  • The copyright information on the title screen was revised to remove references to Index Corporation.
  • Fixed bugs related to equipment, display, and praying at the temple were fixed.
  • Fixes for various minor bugs, display adjustments and performance stability.

Version 1.09

Released on March 30, 2018 for PS3 and Vita only, and is the latest version of the game.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the player from choosing the narrator voice.

Dragon's Crown Pro (PS4)

Version 1.02

Released on February 29, 2018 in Japan only. Also is version 1.00 of the international version.

  • Actions can now be assigned to the L2 and R2 buttons.
  • The priority of cursor clicks has been adjusted.
  • Fixed various bugs:
    • Fixed an issue related to a shortcut assignment not removing alongside the skill "Deep Pockets".
    • Fixed an online issue that prevented players from connecting under certain conditions.
    • Fixed an issue that did not register players that were previously played with.
    • Fixed a momentary freeze that could occur online under certain conditions.
    • Fixed an issue where some Talismans in the Ultimate difficulty level were obtained when connecting online.
    • Fixed an issue related to the equipment effect Ice Storm.
    • Fixed an issue releatd to the skill Reflect Missile.
    • Fixed an issue that caused lag with background music playback.

Version 1.03

Released on March 3, 2022 in Japan only.
