The fundamental research questions are: What are the most one of the most important strategies in Water Resources Management and Contemporary Sus-Tech Architecture? What are the opportunities to aggregate many best practices into a larger whole that moves toward environmental, economic and social sustainability? To answer these questions, in field theory the research methodology: “logical argumentation” and in field analysis samples; the research methodology “descriptive – analytical method” are used. Studies show that incentives should be based on the triple bottom line and not only economic factors. In addition, it is important to develop technologies for the assessment of environmental impacts of contemporary buildings in terms of the entire life cycle of th...

Data were collected from tourists using a questionnaire which included ten Likert-scale questions inquiring about motivation of tourists in the choosing intended place. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test was conducted to determine which motivations of tourists (pilgrims and residents) are different. The analysis indicated that there were differences between pilgrim and resident motivation in selection of destination in two factors. Differences were identified between historic and heritage wealth and Climate comfort. The t-test analysis of the study indicates that there is no significant difference between attitudes of two cities’ tourists in all factors.

This study is aimed to study meaning and concepts of urban parks in comparison with historic gardens. The literature review of the research emphasizes on impacts of environment on the addressees because of environmental elements and design. To address the issue the study have been done in two categories i.e. urban parks and historic gardens. Theoretical framework of the paper shows that there are three primary emotional responses - i.e. pleasure, excitation and dominance, in perception of meaning. Ten of the bipolar pairs emotions extracted from library state of the art of the paper were classified in these three primary emotional responses. Then a questionnaire was given to randomly selected samples of the research - fifty undergraduate students of the Architecture Departments of Sama Islamic Azad University in Saveh. These students were asked to rate a total of twenty photographs from fou...

We have shown that Quality Function Deployment tool exists that deals with this question. Our paper attempts to challenge the process because of the importance of this question for the successful implementation of the design process and as a result, the design and planning for sustainability. The research question: Citizen Participation in what stage of the design process should be done? Qualitative Research Method is adopted in this paper which being supported by depth interview technique with questionnaire. The success of design clearly depends on the relationship between the design and the participation in three stages of design process. Many landscapes designed for further use to customers where as this research suggests that the introduction of participation into design can lead to a univers...

Social aspects of sustainability, is in need of community participation. Participation in the design process especially in landscape architecture and design is one of the most important factors which are emphasized in recent years and new theories. The paper is to propose a systematic guideline to find community needs and demands in order to develop a community-oriented landscape design. This model developed to meet sustainability in architecture and planning, which is examined in case of Iran, Tehran, Majid-Abad Park.
