The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of practice of science teachers in the primary stage of the behavioral manifestations that contribute to the development of basic thinking skills essential to their students, and its relation to sex and teacher experience. The sample of the study consisted of 33 science teachers (males and females) in the primary stage in Irbid Second Educational Directorate. The note card was used to identify the extent of their use of the behavioral manifestations that contribute to the development of the basic thinking skills through observation in the classroom. The note card consisted of 42 behavioral manifestations. The results of the study revealed a low level of the use of teachers in the primary stage to the basic thinking skills , through observation in the classroom, where the level of use was less than the acceptable level educationally , 80% .The results did not also show significant differences in the level of their use of basic thinking skills attributed to qualification or teaching experience, while the results showed statistically significant differences due to the variable of gender in favor of females

قام الباحث بتصميم إستبانة اشتملت على ستة معايير لتحقيق الجودة الشاملة في التعليم المتعلقة بالمعلم،
هي: تخطيط وتصميم المواقف التعليمية، المناخ التعليمي، فهم المادة العلمية وتكاملها مع المواد الأخرى،
استخدام الاستراتيجيات والتقنيات التعليمية، التقويم التعليمي- التعلمي، التنمية المهنية. وبلغت بنود
الاستبانة ) 45 ( بند ا . وبعد التأكد من صدق الاستبانة وثباتها الذي بلغ ) 59.4 (، قام الباحث بتطبيقها على
عينة الدراسة التي بلغ قوامها ). 9( مديرا في محافظة اربد، وتلا ذلك تحليل البيانات التي تم الحصول
عليها باستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة
وقد انتهت نتائج التحليل الإحصائي الى ان درجة ممارسة معلمي العلوم لاساليب تحقيق معايير
الجودة الشاملة في التعليم المتعلقة بهم من وجهة نظر مدراء مدارسهم في محافظة اربد كانت بدرجة
ممارسة متوسطة، وفي ضوء النتائج أوصى البحث بجملة من التوصيات منها: نشر ثقافة الجودة الشاملة
بين معلمي العلوم، وتوعيتهم بأهمية الدورات التدريبية في صقل مهاراتهم التدريسية. وعقد دورات
تدريبية وورش عمل لتطوير الممارسات التدريسية لمعلمي العلوم بما يحقق معايير الجودة الشاملة.

The study aimed at investigating the level of knowledge of concept mapping
among physics teachers in Jordan in light of some variables related to
them. The sample of the study was composed of (96) male and female physics
teachers at the first Irbid Directorate of education schools. The variables
related to physics teachers were gender, teaching experience and educational
qualification. A five point Likert scale composed of (75) items was validated
and used to measure the physics teachers knowledge of concept mappingin Jordan. The study recommended,
in light of results achieved, that

training and more effort should be
done to convince them to use concept
maps in teaching

This study aimed at investigating the physics teachers attitudes toward using alternative evaluation methods in light of themselves. The sample of the study was composed of (90) male and female physics teachers at the Irbid Directorate government schools. The variables related to physics teachers were gender, teaching experience and educational qualification. A five point Likert scale composed of (50) items, was validated and used to measure the physics teachers attitudes toward using alternative evaluation methods.
The results revealed that attitudes of physics teachers toward using alternative evaluation methods in general were equal to(55,8%), and there was no effect of physics teachers gender, teaching experience and educational qualification on their attitudes toward using alternative evaluation methods in light of themselves.
The study recommended, in light of results achieved, that knowing of how to use alternative evaluation methods should be part of physics teachers' certification and training and more effort should be done to convince them to use alternative evaluation methods in teaching.

The objective of the current study was to analyze the content of 1st secondary school grade
physics textbook at kingdom of Saudi Arabia to identify its inclusion level for different
multiple intelligences. To achieve this objective, the study adopted the content analysis
approach through the development of a checklist containing a set of criteria( a content
analysis checklist) to analyze the content of 1st secondary school grade physics textbook.
The list consisted of (100) statements to identify the different types of intelligences
included in the textbook. Reliability and validity of the checklist were obtained by a panel
of specialists and buy calculating reliability coefficients. In the content analysis, the
researcher used the sentence unit. The study concluded with the following results:
1. The percentage of multiple intelligences to be included in the 1st secondary school
grade physics textbook in kingdom of Saudi Arabia was (52%) and varied from one
intelligence to another.
2. The total frequencies of the statements used in the instrument of the study analyzed
was (1013) times, with a percentage of (25.3) of the total analysis units.
3. There was imbalance in the inclusion of multiple intelligences strategies at 1st
secondary school grade physics textbook in kingdom of Saudi Arabia. There was a
clear concentration on some strategies of multiple intelligence and thus reporting a
moderate level of inclusion; and these were : linguistic\ verbal intelligence ( 25.6%),
logical\ mathematical intelligence ( 25.3%), natural intelligence ( 25.2%). By
contrast, other multiple intelligences strategies were neglected and there frequencies
were low and these included : spatial\ visual intelligence ( 9.8%), kinetic\ physical
intelligence ( 3,5%), interpersonal intelligence ( 5.1%). intrapersonal intelligence
(5.5%), while rhythmic intelligence was not included in the textbook, meaning that
there was an obvious flaw by the textbook developers needing treatment.

This study aimed at investigating the physics teachers' attitudes toward using different evaluation methods.
The sample of the study consisted of (90) governmental school male and female physics teachers at Irbid
Directorate.
To achieve the objective of the study, a five point Likert scale questionnaire consisted of (50) items was
validated and used to measure the physics teachers’ attitudes.
The results revealed that physics teachers' attitudes, in general, were weak with a mean score of (55.8%).
There was no effect of either gender, teaching experience, or educational qualification on their attitudes.
Based upon these results, it is recommended that knowledge of how to use different evaluation methods
should be a part of physics teachers' certification and training, and that more effort should be exerted to convince
them to use different evaluation methods.

The research uses the mixed methodology to collect, analyze and mix all of the quantitative data and qualitative data in one frame to understand the problem of the research, it has been conducting in accordance with four stages, the first stage included a review of previous studies to identifying the developmental domains and its sub-components of science teacher preparation of in the light of professional development trends in knowledge era, and organize them in the research tool.
The second stage included what has been reached in the first stage with the members of the discussion groups which is consisting of stakeholders from the faculty, students and officials members of teachers education.
The third stage included an egression a unified suggested perspective in the light of what the consultants discussions findings with the key information resources that represent different relationship with the main categories.
In the fourth stage, it was applying of verification of the truthfulness of the research tool in its finalized procedures. In light of the conclusions of research results it was recommended the following:
Merging the developmental domains for the preparation of science teachers in the light of the directions of professional development in the knowledge era in the preparation and professional development for teachers of science programs.
Building a training program to train science teachers in accordance with the development domains to prepare a science teacher in the light of the directions of professional development in the age of knowledge.
Benefiting from the perception in the preparation of the proposed evaluation card are in the light to judge the effectiveness of the teaching performance of science teachers.

The study aimed at defining Possession level of Scientific and Engineering Practices in the light of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) by Secondary Stage Science Teachers in Saudi Arabia. The study sample consisted of (75) science teachers at secondary stage in Yanbu governorate. To collect the data, A questionnaire was prepared and consisted in its final shape of (50) indicators distributed among (8) scientific and engineering practices. To be certain of the validity of the questionnaire, it was presented to a group of referees , and its reliability was calculated by Cronbach Alpha Coefficient to be (0.96).
The results of the study revealed that;
1) The possession level of scientific and engineering practices was within the medium degree with average (2.65) .
2) The Practices; (Asking Questions and Defining Problems), (Analyzing and Interpreting Data) and (Obtaining, Evaluating, and Communicating Information) obtained a medium degree of possession.
3) The Practices: (Developing and Using Models), (Planning and Carrying Out Investigations), (Using Mathematics and Computational Thinking), (Constructing Explanations and Designing Solutions) and (Engaging in Argument from Evidence) obtained a small degree of possession.
4) There were no statistically significant differences among means responses of the study sample members due to gender and instructional experience variables.
Several recommendations were suggested regarding to the results of study
