Love Warms Every Nest

 My mom is a quilter and a while back  she gave me a sweet little 6x6 sqaure made from 5 lucious fabrics. It was a leftover from a project, and too good to toss. So this was the perfect inspiration for this card. The sweet Crafty Secrets girl image seems to blend with the vintage fabric. The upper part is stamped with Papertrey Ink's BB Tin Types and Old Paper distress ink. The sentiment is from Crafty Secrets Bird Notes.

Cath's current 3 Cheers for Chairs Challenge is all about chairs, of course. I seem to have a thing for furniture stamps so I had lots to pick from. These are from the Fourishes set "Chairs for You". The middle chair was stamped onto wood paper and trimmed, and the cushion was stamped and pieced with pp. Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's On my Couch set.

Teacher's Day Gifts

These are gifts that were given to the teachers at Peyton's school yesterday. We put on a garden-themed luncheon for them: sandwich fixins, soups and salads. The topiary flowers are cupcakes! Carol made this, so adorable. Each package has garden gloves, a coffee card, and a package of Ed Hume Children's Garden flower seeds, that he donated.
