Been programming since the early 80s. Started with BASIC, Pascal and assembler on 8 bit computers, later C, Modula-2, Java, C++, Xojo.

I'm experienced in all kinds of low level computing areas, including hardware access, performance optimization, file systems, disk drives, OS kernels and much more.

I write tools (e.g. data conversion, file analysis) for a living.
