Windows 7 installer: Select CD-ROM boot type
I am attempting to install Windows 7 over Elementary OS (Ubuntu) on a machine that originally ran OS X. When I attempt to boot to the installer, I get the following message:

Does dual-booting an OS require a dual-core processor?
My friend claims that dual booting, using two different OSes, requires a multi-core or multi-threaded processor. Is this true?
And if I install additional OSes, will my computer slow down any?
