JUGS is having this FABULOUS Challenge to make a wedding card and since my niece just got engaged, I thought it would be perfect timing!!!
Also the Card Patterns blog has this WONDERFUL sketch challenge #75 and I used this to design the perfect wedding card for Callie!!Edit: I made Card Patterns Super 5 with this card!
Callie's colors are going to be black and white with a touch of light pink and her dress is going to have antique lace that her soon to be Mother-In-Law is going to use from her wedding gown to make a gown for Callie! WOW! How Special! I tried to incorporate all of that goodness into this card! This is a close up of my new FAVORITE embellie I made with the damask heart from my CTMH Heartfelt stamp set and the paper rose from my new SIZZIX flower die cut. I used versamark and white embossing powder to make the heart and then Icut it out. I also pounced the edges of the rose into the Versamark pad and then dipped it into the white embossing powder and heat embossed it. I REALLY like how this looks.
Here is the entire card with clear embossed PTI flourishes on the black, PTI Damask stamps on the white, Spellbinder's Labels 1 with the PTI labels stamp for the black outline and the word Always from the PTI Heartprints stamp set. I used Black, White, and Sweet Blush paper, all from PTI. The pink sheer ribbon and the lace and pearl ribbon is from my ribbon "collection!"
I also put little pink pearls in the damask images and a big pearl brad from Hobby Lobby in the flower center.

And this final picture is one I will call "Pure Love!"
One of my kitties brings us toys during the night and this morning I woke up to not the usual one or two toys but 4 toys! I just had to take a pic of the sight that greeted me the minute I opened my eyes!

I can't believe your kitty brings out all the toys while you sleep. That is just too funny. Maybe it is lonely. :) My mom and dads cat use to drag around its toy and cry when my dad would go to work. LOL

Beautiful card Sue, love the colors. One of my cats plays with the dog toys every night. It is funny because it always seems like she has at least 3 out. She had a litter of 3 kittens once and I think she is remembering taking care of them. ( Or at least that is what I have decided!)
