This week's challenge at MFP Stamps is Anything Goes!
For my card, I used the Huge Blooms stamp set. I stamped the image onto watercolor paper, then used distress inks (the small cubes) direct to the image and a little dab using a different color around the image. Spritzed it with water to get the ink to flow a bit around the image.
We hope you'll share your anything goes cards and/or projects with us this week. You can find the challenge HERE.
I wanted to create a different sized card for today! It measures 4 x 9. I added a length of designer paper to the cardbase and stamped directly onto the paper using an image and sentiment from the MFP Stamp Shop Bow Hunting stamp set. Here's the Design Team
For my card, I used a fun fold called "pop out swing card." I found a video tutorial on youtube (just search the words "pop out swing card" and you'll have lots of video tutorials to choose from!)
I used the Spellbinders Pumpkins die and an embossing folder to give texture to the pumpkin.
I used a lot of thanks stamps on this card! MFP Stamp Shop thanks stamps are from the following sets: Huge Blooms, Roses, Fall Apples, and the bottom sentiment is from the Garden Bunnies stamp set. The flower stem is from the Pretty Pears stamp set. Here's the Design Team
The challenge this week is a color challenge (details on the challenge blog).
For my card I used a sentiment from the MFP Stamp Shop Hydrangea stamp set. Cardstock used: Stampin Up Midnight Muse, Daffodil Delight, and Peach Parfait. The ribbon is SU Night of Navy striped ribbon. The scalloped border punch is from EK Success. I embellished the ribbon using a peach-colored rose and added some pearls to the card.
You can find the color challenge details on the MFP Stamps BlogHERE. We hope you'll play along!
The Sparkles Monthly Challenge for October uses the theme "I Put a Spell On You!" We are creating Halloween cards/projects!
For my card I used the All Hallow's Eve stamp set by Inkadinkado. I love these silhouette stamps! I used a circle stencil to create the yellow moon before stamping the image and sentiment.

This week's challenge at MFP Stamps Blog is to follow a tutorial on creating faux metallic embellishments!

I created the small sowflake faux metallic embellishment by following the tutorial that is linked on the MFP Stamps Challenge blog found HERE.
For my card, I'm using Cassie's Snowflake image. I colored the image using Prisma Colored Pencils and gamsol. I embellished using pearls and a die cut snowflake. The stitched dies are from Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies.
