Changing process is carried out by flowing steam into a room containing pipes. Hot steam will flow outside the pipes while water as coolant flows inside the pipes. The condenser is very influential for the unit performance, so the author will discuss the condenser effectiveness in the condensing zone by comparing some operating data from condenser side A and condenser side B of PLTU Jawa Tengah 2 Adipala. The data that was used to determine the condenser effectiveness are the operating data for condenser side A and condenser side B on December 13, 2019 (before overhaul) and March 3, 2020 (after overhaul) at optimal load. Based on data processing, the effectiveness value of condenser side A on December 13, 2019 (before overhaul) has a value of 0,265 while the effectiveness of condenser side B is 0,256. After the overhaul was carried out on March 3, 2020, the effectiveness condenser side A became 0,422 while the effectiveness condenser side B became 0,4061. Comparison of the effectiveness value condenser side A before overhaul and after overhaul increased by 0,157 (37.20%). While the effectiveness value condenser side B before overhaul and after overhaul increased by 0,1501 (36,96%).

Suralaya boiler efficiency analysis unit 5 meliputianalisaawaloperasidananalisasetelah terakhir.Dari overhaul both the analysis of these calculations will be elaborated based on the method of heat losses, thus resulting to a conclusion after comparison. Based on the analysis, the efficiency of the boiler when the last overhaul lower than initial efficiency of development. One way to increase the efficiency of the condenser is by maintaining its properness and as a heat exchanger as a medium for using seawater as a cooling medium. The method that can be used in this research is the analysis of the effect of vacuum on the effectiveness of the condenser. This analysis is used to find effectiveness. One of the components of heat exchanger reliability is the condenser. With the analysis of its effectiveness and the calculation of the rate of cooling water temperature, it can be seen the value of its efficiency. The calculation results prove that the components in the condenser can be used as a reference for maintaining the heat exchanger components in the generator so that their effectiveness does not decrease

T... more Low temperature storage with a single refrigeration system only stable up to 228 K temperature. The purpose of this study is to develop a low temperature cool storage with cascade refrigeration system, with hydrocarbon refrigerants in terms of energy and exergy analysis. Experimental research in laboratories using refrigerant hydrocarbon MC22 and MC134 on the hight temperature circuit, and R404A and R502 using on low temperature circuit. Condenser heat exchanger using a type of exchanger plate. Resulting from this research, obtained that result the MC22/R404A, MC22/R502 and MC134/R404A refrigerant pair can reach a temperature of 220 K. The MC22/R404A refrigerant pair has god performance, COP, total loss exergy, and exergy efficiency is better than MC22/R502, and MC134/R04A refrigerant pairs.

Kepurun Pawana Indonesia (PT. KPI). Planning this cold storage will be addressed to the PT. KPI in Yogyakarta that one of his business is cattle farm. Because cattle results from this farm will be sold in the form of fresh beef. Therefore, these companies require cold storage for the storage of beef. Cold storage is intended to keep the quality of beef stays fresh, quality is maintained and not easily damaged or rotten. Cold storage planning begins by calculating the heat load of the product itself, followed by the calculation of the human load, load infiltration, load lighting and lighting loads. After that we can survey the price of machines such as evaporators, condensers, compressors and other equipment from the calculation that writers get. By designing the cold storage, is expected to help and solve the problem of PT. KPI itself in preserving beef before sale to consumers. Meat sales volume instability problems caused by market conditions can be overcome.
