At the temple summit, you need to use the Ancient Computer to the west to shut down the Temple energy shield so you can leave once you return to its Main Level, and shut down the planetary disruptor field so you can leave this world once you return to the Ebon Hawk.

However, Bastila stands in your way, with the most significant alignment shift in the game: even with opposing Mastery you can become neutral, and if already neutral then you must move closer to the light or dark side of the Force. This choice, and only this choice, affects whether the Republic or the Sith prevail, with you defeating Bastila and Darth Malak on the Star Forge or replacing him as the Dark Lord of the Sith with her at your side.

Once you've left the temple you can return to the Elder Settlement and Rakatan Settlement for any unfinished business, and meet your party on the Central Beach before using the Ebon Hawk to travel to the Star Forge. If you've returned to the dark side then this encounter is particularly significant: although Bastila has returned, between the summit and the beach you can lose up to five other members of your party... hopefully you roleplayed a self-reliant Sith...

Map of the summit of the Temple of the Ancients

The massive door in the north wall behind you closes as you enter from the main floor below:

Security Massive Door Unlock 100 (80) Bash Resist - Vitality -
Jolee: Hold on - you have to disable the energy shield around this Temple before we can leave. I saw a computer up here. It might be connected to the power generators of this place. And if you don't disable the disruptor field protecting the Star Forge, the Ebon Hawk won't be able to leave the planet without crashing.

You're in a room on the east side of the summit, with three plasteel cylinders by the east wall in its southeast corner and an exit to the summit in the west wall of its southwest corner.

Bastila[edit | edit source]

Out in the sunshine on the summit, you'll see someone standing in the shade of the short tunnel connecting the two circular spaces to the west. Prepare for combat and save game. As you start to cross the first space, that someone is revealed to be Bastila:

Bastila: Revan - I knew you'd come for me. Malak thought you might be afraid to enter the Temple again, but he doesn't know you like I do. Not anymore. Not since you've changed.
Dialog
Juhani: Quickly, Bastila - come with us! We have to escape before Malak arrives! Jolee: Come on, Bastila. We have to escape before Malak shows up!
Bastila: Escape? You don't understand. I have sworn allegiance to Lord Malak and the Sith; I am no longer a pawn of the Jedi Council.
1. No, Bastila! Don't go over to the dark side! 2. A pawn of the Jedi Council? What are you talking about?
Bastila: You say that as if the dark side is some terrible entity. The Jedi Council has brainwashed you like all the others. Like they once did with me. Bastila: Surely you know what I mean, Revan. Look at what the Council did to you; they turned you into their puppet. The same thing they do to all who are truly strong in the Force.
Bastila: They speak of the dark side as if it something to be feared. But in reality their only goal is to manipulate those who are strong in the Force. The fear of the dark side is a tool to maintain control. Why do you think the Jedi forbid you and Malak from joining the Mandalorian Wars? They knew you would realize your true potential and break free of their domination. Malak has shown me how the Jedi Council have been using me the same way they once tried to use you. They've been holding me back because they knew one day I would surpass them all.
1. No - I don't believe it! How could you betray us like this, Bastila? 2. It's not too late, Bastila! You can still turn away from the dark side! 3. It didn't take long to convert you, did it? I always knew you were weak!
Bastila: I resisted at first. I endured the Sith torments with the passionless serenity of a true Jedi, emptying my mind. But after a week of endless tortures I finally saw the truth. Malak forced me to acknowledge my anger and pain. He showed me the liberating power of these emotions. Then he made me see how the Jedi Council has denied me what is mine by right! The Jedi Council gladly used my Battle Meditation in their wars, but they still treated me like a child - like an inferior. They were jealous of my power... of what I could become! They wanted me to bow and call them Master and follow their Code and obey their every order. But all the while they were exploiting my Battle Meditation for their own use!
1. Don't do this, Bastila! Fight it! I'll help you! 2. I like this side of you, Bastila. Now we can truly be together.
Bastila: You are a sad little fool. You speak as if I were the same Bastila that you've known all along. But freed from the control of the Jedi Council I've become much, much more. Bastila: You think so, do you? You style yourself the Master of the Sith that you once were? To think I once envied you your passion, your power.
Bastila: I almost wish you could see things as I do now. I wish you could join me and taste true power once again. Sadly, I doubt you are even capable any longer.

Otherwise:

1. Don't be lured in by these Sith lies, Bastila! Dark Side Points Gained: -2
Bastila: Lies? You are the one living a lie, Revan. The Jedi Council made you into something you are not; they programmed you to be their slave. 2. I am Revan, the Dark Lord! Bow down to me, Bastila! 3. If you've fallen under Malak's control you must die!
Bastila: You used to be Revan, Master of the Sith, but no longer. You are simply a pawn of the Jedi Council and the Republic they serve... like I was until Malak freed me from their shackles!
Bastila: A pity the power you once had is so diluted in you. You could have been strong as I am now... stronger, even. But that will never happen, now.

In any case:

Bastila: With the power of the Star Forge Malak will destroy the Republic and conquer the galaxy. And I will be the apprentice at his side - after I prove my worth by killing you!

Once you've reduced her to 50% Vitality (most simply achieved with one failed save against Kill), she uses Force Wave and dialog resumes:

Bastila: You are stronger than I would have thought possible, after what the Jedi Council did to you. Seems that Malak was wrong - the power of the dark side is not lost to you after all, Revan.
1. I draw my power from the light now, Bastila. 2. Don't call me that. I'm not Revan anymore. I'm Name now.
Light Side Points Gained: +2
Dialog
Bastila: You can deny what you are, Revan, but you are only fooling yourself. I know the truth. I have seen the shadows inside your mind. Remember: I was there when you nearly died in the trap set by the Jedi Council. I used the Force to preserve your life, Revan. We are forever linked by my actions on that bridge!
1. That is how I know you will come back to the light. 2. There is no link between us, Bastila! Not anymore! 3. We are linked by more than just a bond, Bastila.
Bastila: These are not your true feelings, Revan. You are speaking as a tool of the Jedi Council - as I once did. But now I see how the Jedi used us both! Bastila: Our bond is not easily broken, Revan. Even when your mind was destroyed and reprogrammed with a new identity the bond between us endured. Bastila: Do not mistake the power of the Force for love, Revan. It does not exist. Power is what forged our bond, and power is what made us both tools of the Jedi Council!
Bastila: The Council tried to exploit the bond between us. They hoped I would draw out your memories to lead them to the Star Forge. We were slaves to their will - like all who follow the Jedi Code! But in our shared visions of the Star Maps I also felt the so called taint within you. I resisted it at first, but now I embrace the power of the dark side - your dark side!
3. Now you see the power of the true Dark Lord! 1. Learn from my mistakes. It is not too late to come back to the light! 2. No! This isn't the Bastila I knew!

Dialog
Bastila: Yes, Revan! I was there when you almost died in the trap set by the Jedi Council; I used the Force to preserve your life. We are forever linked by my actions on that bridge. The Council tried to exploit our bond. They hoped your memories would lead me to the Star Forge. But in our shared visions of the Star Maps I also tasted the power of the taint within you! Bastila: Mistakes? No, Revan - the only mistake you are making is the one you are making now! You deny yourself the power that is yours by right! Only now do I realize how strong you are. Bastila: Of course not! I have been reborn in the wake of destiny... *your* destiny! The power of the dark side is yours by right!
3. What are you saying, Bastila? 4. If I am so powerful, then why do you serve another master? 4. Then why don't we join our power together, as it was meant to be?
Dark Side Points Gained: -2
Dialog
Bastila: You deserve to be the true Master of the Sith, not Malak. I see this now. Together we can destroy your old apprentice. Join with me and reclaim your lost identity!
1. I'm not Revan anymore. I don't even remember those days. 2. How can I reclaim my identity if I can't even remember it?
Bastila: Your mind was too badly damaged to ever fully restore your memories, Revan. But your power, your strength of will, the essence of who and what you are: these things still remain! Once long ago you defied the Jedi Council, freeing yourself from their control. You claimed your rightful title of Dark Lord of the Sith. Together we can defeat Malak and take back what is yours!
1. Please, Bastila... if you feel anything for me, you won't do this! 2. Turn away from this path, Bastila. The dark side leads only to destruction.
Bastila: I... I don't. The only Revan I could respect is one who would break free of the Council's slavery. One who would grasp the power that lies before him... not the weak fool I see.
Juhani: Bastila, it is not too late for you to be saved. The teachings of the Jedi can lead you from the dark side back into the light and a true understanding of the Force. Jolee: It's not to late for you, Bastila. The dark side is evil but it isn't all powerful. You can still fight against it. Don't let it consume you.
Bastila: You are beneath my contempt, Juhani. When you felt the power of the dark side you fled to a cave like some cowering animal! You know nothing of the Force or its true potential! Bastila: You are beneath my contempt, old man! You hid like a coward for decades on Kashyyyk! You know nothing about the true potential of the Force!
Bastila: But you, Revan - the power of the dark side is yours to command! You can use it to destroy Malak! With my help you could rule over the entire galaxy!

You can move (much) closer to the dark side of the Force before you even make your final decision:

Dialog
4. How do I know you won't betray me?
Bastila: I need deny my passions no longer, Revan. I would stand by your side gladly, as your lover and apprentice! I swore allegiance to Malak only because I thought you had lost the power you had once wielded. But this... this would be much better. I would be utterly yours, master! Together we would destroy Malak and you would reclaim the mantle of Dark Lord! Bastila: It is your power that will keep me as your loyal apprentice, Revan. I swore allegiance to Malak only because I thought you had lost the power you once wielded. But you have proven yourself in our battle; I see you possess the strength to destroy Malak and reclaim the mantle of Dark Lord. Now I see you will make a worthy Sith Master.
3. Yes! Together we can rule the galaxy! Dark Side Points Gained: -2
Dialog
Jolee: Listen to me... the dark side leads to death and destruction. I've seen the horrors the Sith have unleashed on the galaxy. Turn away from this path.
Bastila: Shut up, old man. Your time is over! The age of the Jedi and the Republic is no more! This is the age of Darth Revan and the Sith!
Jolee: Don't do this, kid. I don't want to, but I'll fight you if I have to. Even if it costs me my life.
1. I am the Lord of the Sith! Bow down before me! Dark Side Points Gained: -2
Dialog
Juhani: A true Jedi will never bow down to the Sith. If this is your decision I have no choice but to do battle against you. Jolee: I'm a Jedi... I'll never bow down to the Sith. If you go through with this I have no choice but to do battle against you.
Bastila: Kill her! Rend her flesh! Show her the fate of all who dare stand against us! Embrace the power of the dark side! Bastila: Kill him! Grind his old bones to dust! Show him the fate of all who dare stand against us! Embrace the dark side!

Regardless of your current alignment and previous choices, it is the decision you make here and now that will determine the outcome of the game:

1. I don't want to rule the galaxy. I want you to return to the light. 1. No, I... don't want you like this. I want the woman I knew.
2. The Dark Lord Revan is dead. I am a servant of the light now. 3. You... you're right. I cannot do this. I reject the dark side! 1. No, I will not kill my friend. I reject the power of the dark side.
Light Side Points Gained: +6
4. I don't trust you. I think I'll just kill you instead! Dark Side Points Gained: -2
Juhani: No! This is the way of the dark side! Do not give in to the anger and hatred! Jolee: No! Don't give into your anger. Remain calm, remain focused. Don't let her twist your mind like this!

Any of those responses results in Bastila running away to the west, boarding the GWing escape ship there and taking off:

Bastila: You are a pathetic fool, Revan! Together we could have defeated Malak and ruled over an Empire, but now I will be at Lord Malak's side instead! You will be crushed with the Republic and all the fools who bow down to the Jedi Council! No one can stand against the power of the Star Forge and the Sith fleet!
Light Side Points Gained: +10

Otherwise:

2. Then you must die! 2. Death to the Jedi!
Dark Side Points Gained: -6
Bastila: Yes! The sacrificial blood will consecrate this ancient temple in the name of the Sith! With the death of the Jedi the rebirth of Darth Revan will be complete!
Dark Side Points Gained: -10

In either case, dialog concludes with one of the two most significant alignment changes in the game:

Which is just as well, since the remaining Jedi in your party are removed from it before you engage in combat (fortunately, any buffs previously active are now cancelled). The challenge of this encounter will vary considerably depending on whether you only face Jolee or Juhani as well, and how well-developed and -equipped everyone is (including Bastila, as she may now be re-equipped or leveled up). If you have any trouble at this stage then quit and uninstall try reducing Combat Difficulty or loading a game saved beforehand, downgrade their equipment (or remove it altogether), and select unsuitable AI scripts (Default Attack for Jolee, and perhaps Jedi/Droid Support for Juhani).

Any equipment can be retrieved from the remains, while the contents of Bastila's inventory were added to your own when she was added to your party:

Malak has turned Bastila to the dark side. You confronted her atop the Rakatan Temple, but she escaped. No doubt she has fled to the Star Forge.
Journal Entry Added Bastila
You have returned to the dark side and embraced your old life. Bastila has joined you so that together you can reclaim the title of Dark Lord of the Sith from Malak, your old apprentice.

If you returned to the dark side, then if you try to speak to Bastila or return east to try to open the massive door before using the Ancient Computer:

Bastila: You will have to disable the energy shield around this temple before we can leave. There is a computer here on the Temple summit that has access to the power generators. You can also use it to disable the disruptor field that protects the Star Forge. Otherwise, the Ebon Hawk will not be able to leave the planet without crashing.

Trapped on a Nameless World[edit | edit source]

Journal Entry Added Trapped on a Nameless World
Bastila has fallen to the dark side and sworn allegiance to Darth Malak. She fled to the Star Forge, where she will use her battle meditation to destroy the Republic fleet unless you find a way to get onto the Star Forge and stop her.
Journal Entry Added Trapped on a Nameless World
You have reclaimed your true identity as Lord of the Sith, and Bastila has sworn allegiance to you. The Jedi with you, however, would not bow before you and had to die. Now you must travel to the Star Forge for a final confrontation with your apprentice, Darth Malak.

Juhani[edit | edit source]

If you didn't return to the dark side and Juhani is in your party:

Journal Entry Added Juhani
Juhani will stand by your side no matter what Malak may send against you.

If the Threat from Xor has been met and all personal dialogs have also been completed, then if you speak to her before leaving this world for the Star Forge:

Juhani: This may be the last time I will have a chance to talk to you...

If a female character hasn't alienated her:

Juhani: I just want you to know that I... that I...
Dialog
3. Please stop. Now.
Juhani: Of.. Of course. I am sorry. I should have known better. I can only say that if I am going to die, as we stand likely to, I am glad that it will be you beside whom I do it.

Otherwise:

1. ... Yes? 2. You do not need to say it, Juhani.
Juhani: But I feel I must. I have never said this before...
Juhani: I... I... I care for you. I do not know why. I do not know if anything will be possible or if you even return what I feel, but I do know it is there. I am sorry if this upsets you. I am so sorry if I am wrong, but I cannot deny what it is that I feel.
2. I am sorry, I cannot return your affection. 3. Are you sure this is the time for this?
Juhani: I... I understand. You have someone somewhere... or I just do not seem to appeal to you. Juhani: I was afraid that I would have no more time to say it... I wonder if all of us will survive what we must do...
Juhani: I am sorry for pushing myself on you. I apologize for my actions. I suggest we find and confront Malak as soon as possible to remove the threat to the Republic once and for all.

Otherwise:

1. I feel the same way, Juhani.
Juhani: Now that I have put myself in this position, I know not what to say.
1. You do not have to say anything. 2. Er... 'Thank you'? 3. We have gone past words.
Juhani: Yes. I thank you. But as much as I may care for you, and you for me, first we must deal with Malak. After there will be time to sort things out between us.

If your character is male, or a female who has alienated her:

Juhani: I just want to thank you for all that you have done for me. For saving me from the dark side, for accepting me on your journey.
Dialog
1. I value your companionship. 2. I need you to help me, Juhani. 3. You have proved your worth many times over.
Juhani: It is good to know that I have been of some value... Juhani: I will help you in any way I can.
Juhani: Even if not as much as I would like...
Juhani: I will prove my true worth to you.
Juhani: We WILL defeat Malak and save the Republic from the Sith threat once and for all!
1. And that is what we shall do! 2. We should get going. 3. Do not underestimate the Sith.
Juhani: I... defer to your wisdom in this matter. I have little knowledge of the true power of the Sith.
Juhani: I pledge my life to your cause. I will stand by you until the end.

Ancient Computer[edit | edit source]

Regardless of the outcome of your encounter with Bastila, you can now use the Rakatan computer by the north wall of the second circular space on the west side of the summit:

Rakatan Computer: SYSTEM LOADING...

3. Log out. Rakatan Computer: SYSTEM LOGGING OFF...

If you returned to the dark side, and speak to Bastila again at any time and anywhere after shutting down the planetary disruptor field and Temple energy shield:

Bastila: With each passing moment your old apprentice becomes stronger, Master. We must act quickly to exact your vengeance. Malak will pay for stealing the mantle of Dark Lord from you!

Your long quest for the Star Forge is about to be completed...

Quest for the Star Forge[edit | edit source]

Journal Entry Added A Quest for the Star Forge
Bastila has turned to the dark side and sworn allegiance to Darth Malak. The Republic is on its way, but if you don't get to the Star Forge and stop Bastila from using her Battle Meditation against them, the fleet is doomed. You also suspect Malak will be waiting for you there.
Journal Entry Added A Quest for the Star Forge
You have reclaimed your true identity and Bastila has sworn her allegiance to you. But there is still the matter of Malak, your old apprentice. Only when you face him and destroy him on the Star Forge will your victory be complete.

There are two plasteel cylinders on the northwest side of the second circular space on the west side of the summit, although if you've returned to the dark side then you'll have to move around Bastila's GWing escape ship to get to them:

[This craft is too small for you and Bastila together. You will have to use the Ebon Hawk to leave.]
Item(s) Received Plasteel Cylinder (2)

Main Level[edit | edit source]

Once you've used the Rakatan computer to shut down the planetary disruptor field and Temple energy shield then you return east and open the massive door in the north wall to go back down to the main floor and exit to the Temple Exterior, which is now empty. You cannot return to Ebon Hawk or change party selection from anywhere on this world now, so you'll have to make your own way back to the Ebon Hawk on the Central Beach, retrieving ship parts from beneath the shipwreck on the south beach or from the southeast rancor enclosure of the Arena of the One beforehand if you haven't already done so.

Elder Settlement[edit | edit source]

If the Elder Settlement on the south beach helped you get inside the Temple of the Ancients then you can return there to receive experience for completing the Rakatan Research quest or speaking to Keeper Orsaa (if you haven't already done so). If you've returned to the dark side, then you and Bastila can attack the Elder councillors when you speak to them:

Elder Councillor: You are back, Revan. When you refused to enter the Temple alone we feared you had betrayed us again. We did not expect you to return. Did you find what you were looking for inside the Temple? Did you discover the secrets to destroy the Star Forge?
Dialog
Dark 1. You fools - I would never destroy the Star Forge! Dark 1. First I have to slaughter all of you!
Elder Councillor: You... you mean you have betrayed us, again? For a thousand generations we have guarded the secrets within the Temple: we cannot allow you to unleash them on the galaxy! Guards, destroy Revan! Do not let the traitor escape!

Otherwise:

Light 1. Not exactly. I have to go to the Star Forge to stop Malak. Dark 2. [Lie] Yes. I'm going there now to destroy it and Malak.
Elder Councillor: Then we wish you luck, Revan. For far too long we have kept ourselves hidden away on this lonely world, hoping to keep the Star Forge from unleashing its evil upon the rest of the galaxy. Perhaps... perhaps once the Star Forge is destroyed it will be time for us to leave this world, to rejoin the galaxy we have isolated ourselves from for so long.
Dark 2. [Lie] Yes, I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms. 1. I'm sure the galaxy will welcome you with open arms. 2. Maybe, but we should discuss this only after Malak is stopped.
Elder Councillor: You are right, of course. This is not something to be rushed into; not while the Star Forge still exists.
Elder Councillor: You must go now, Revan. The Star Forge feeds the power of your old apprentice. If you do not stop him soon he will become too powerful for even you to stop.
Dark Elder Councillor: Hurry, Revan. The Star Forge must be destroyed. Elder Councillor: Hurry, Revan. The Star Forge must be destroyed, Malak must be stopped. You cannot afford to waste time here with us.

If you speak to any Elder Rakata or worshippers:

You have helped us at last! Finally we shall be able to reclaim our past! At last we can regain our place in the galaxy! Our thanks, Revan.

Rakatan Settlement[edit | edit source]

If the Rakatan Settlement on the north beach helped you get inside the Temple of the Ancients then you can return there to receive experience for completing the Invisible Mandalorians quest or speaking to Loremaster Gjarshi if you haven't already done so:

Loremaster Gjarshi: You have returned from the Temple... as I knew you would. You shall have an honored place in our histories, Revan. The Rakata people shall always be indebted to you.

If you speak to a Rakata who uses a Vibro Double-Blade:

With the secrets of the Temple in our grasp, we can at last complete our conquest of the world!

If you speak to the One again then he always attacks you:

The One: You have entered the Temple, Revan. You have seen the great secrets of the Ancients. Now you must fulfill your oath and share these secrets with me, Revan.
1. You are a fool! I only used you to get into the Temple! 2. The information you wanted was all on computers. You couldn't use it. 3. [Lie] I don't have the secrets on me, but I'll get them for you soon.
Dark Side Points Gained: -2
Dialog
The One: And so you have betrayed us, Revan - just as you did the last time you were here. The One: Do you take me for a fool, Revan? You are hoarding the secrets for yourself! You will leave us and forget about us, just as you did the last time you were here.
The One: But this time you will not be allowed to escape with the knowledge that is rightfully mine, Revan! My war beasts will destroy you!

However, his raising of the portcullises to release the young rancors does allow you to retrieve the ship parts from the southeast rancor enclosure if you don't already have some, before you return to the Ebon Hawk on the central beach.

Central Beach[edit | edit source]

When you return to the Central Beach you'll find the remaining crew gathered there. If you did not return to the dark side on the Temple summit:

Carth: You're back! But where's Bastila? Is she alive? What happened inside that Temple?
Dialog
3. No time! We have to get off this planet and get to the Star Forge!
Carth: Hold on a second! What about Bastila? Wasn't she in the Temple? Wh...what happened?
2. Bastila is dead, Carth. Malak killed her.
Carth: Dead? I... I can't believe it.
Juhani: She is not dead, Carth - though maybe that might have been easier for you to accept. She has fallen to the dark side and fled to the Star Forge. Jolee: She's not dead, Carth - though that might have been easier for you to accept. She's fallen to the dark side and fled to the Star Forge.
1. Bastila has fallen to the dark side. She fled to the Star Forge. 2. Bastila is dead, Carth. Malak killed her.
Carth: The dark side? Bastila? No! No! How could that happen?
Jolee: She was always in danger of being seduced by the dark side, Carth. Bastila was strong, but she was always impatient and headstrong. Malak preyed upon her weaknesses. This planet is a tainted place, the Star Forge and the Temple have twisted the Force into an instrument of evil - just as Malak has twisted Bastila into a servant of the Sith.
1. She can still be saved, can't she? 3. Malak corrupted Bastila because she was weak. 2. I can't help but feel this is partly my fault. 4. Bastila is lost to us now. She deserves to die.
Jolee: Malak has a strong hold on Bastila now - it will be difficult for her to break free of his influence. Especially considering her long association with you. Jolee: Weakness has nothing to do with the corruption of the dark side. A Jedi must always guard against pride and the desire for power. Especially you. Jolee: In the end we all choose our own path, but keep in mind the role that you played in her downfall. You and the task assigned to her by the Jedi Council.
Jolee: Remember the bond that was forged between you when she rekindled the spark that was your life. Through that bond she touched your memories... and also the echo of the dark taint within you.
Carth: But there's still hope for her, right? I mean, Revan rejected the dark side so Bastila could too, right? We still might be able to save her.
1. We can try... and we will. 2. It took the whole Jedi Council and a mind wipe to save me. What chance does she have? 3. It's too late for her. Just accept it.
Juhani: I don't know what fate awaits us, but I sense Bastila still has a role to play in the events to come. I have no doubt she will be waiting for us on the Star Forge. Jolee: I'm not sure what's in store for us, but I sense Bastila still has a role to play. I have no doubt she'll be waiting for us on the Star Forge.
Carth: No doubt. Let's go, then, before she has time to organize a bigger welcoming committee.

Otherwise, if a female character has romanced Carth:

Jolee: No doubt. I must say that it's good to have you with us, my dear. For a minute there I thought you might decide... well, never mind what I thought.
Dialog
Carth: Decide? Decide what?
Juhani: Bastila tried to tempt her to the dark side, to reclaim Revan's heritage. She failed. Jolee: Bastila tried to tempt her to the dark side, to reclaim Revan's heritage. She failed.
Carth: So... you did it? You turned against Revan once and for all? I knew she wasn't part of you anymore. I...I knew it.
1. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Anything can still happen. 2. I chose the light side. It's true. 3. Once and for all? What are you talking about?
Carth: I told you that you would have to make a choice eventually, that you would be tested. I think that was it, I...I can feel it. And you did exactly what I'd hoped you would. It couldn't have been easy... I'm...I'm very proud of you.
1. It wasn't easy at all. Bastila made a good case. 2. I could never do what Bastila did. 3. Thank you. I appreciate the support.
Carth: I'm sure she did. I can't say that any one of us wouldn't have been tempted. Carth: I know. I can't blame Bastila for being turned, however... she's...she's just so young and doesn't deserve this kind of fate. Carth: Always. I'm not certain any one of us wouldn't have been tempted by Bastila's offer.
Carth: I... I love you. And I...I can't wait until all of this is over with.
1. I love you, too. 2. Hey, cool your engines there. 3. We've got a long way to go yet, Carth.
Mission: Hey! Sheesh... get a room, will ya? Carth: Right. Sorry. I just... can't remember the last time I felt this happy. I can wait until the Star Forge is destroyed.
Zaalbar: That two spirits have found each other amidst such turmoil is a good omen, Mission. Does it not please you to see? Mission: You make that sound so easy. Just fly over and boom, one less Star Forge in the universe, huh?
Mission: Oh, sure. Even a good omen can get itself a room, though, don't ya think? Carth: I feel more confident now than I ever did before. The Force is with us, Mission.
Jolee: Well, I'm an old man and I know you should take love when you can find it. Good for you two, I say.
T3-M4: Beep! Beep-beep boop!!
HK-47: Answer: I have no idea what they speak of, droid. Organic meatbags are an eternal mystery to me.
Juhani: Confidence is all well and good, Carth, but if we are going to catch up to Bastila we should leave soon, don't you think?
Carth: Okay - let's get moving. The longer we wait the harder this is going to be!

If you have returned to the dark side:

Carth: Bastila - you're alive! I was worried about you. For a minute there I was sure we'd never see you again once Malak got his... w... wait a minute.
Dialog
Carth: Where are Juhani and Jolee Bindo? Are they okay? What happened inside that temple? Carth: Where's Jolee Bindo? Is he okay? What happened inside that temple?
1. I have reclaimed the title of Darth Revan! Bow before me! 2. They didn't make it. 2. He didn't make it. 3. I went over to the dark side, Carth. That's what happened.
Carth: What... what are you talking about?
Bastila: The Jedi Council has failed, Carth - Darth Revan has been reborn! Together we will destroy Malak and seize control of his fleet, then use it to crush the Republic!
Bastila: Juhani and Jolee would not swear loyalty to the new ruler of the Sith. They died for their foolishness. Now swear loyalty to Darth Revan, or face your own death! Bastila: Jolee would not swear loyalty to the new ruler of the Sith. He died for his foolishness. Now swear loyalty to Darth Revan, or face your own death!
Carth: Wh... what? No! We serve the Republic! You're no better than Malak! We'll never swear allegiance to one who serves the dark side!
Carth: No, you can't mean that! This... this isn't you! You're not Revan, I know it!
1. I am Revan, Carth. Now and forever. 2. Does it matter who I am? I have joined the dark side. 3. Don't be a blind fool, Carth. Open your eyes.
Carth: You've got to resist it! Th... this isn't you talking... we... we can help you, we can find a way --
Bastila: My, my. I think the sad fool may actually be in love with you, Revan.
1. This is my choice, Carth, whether you like it or not. 3. How sad. I guess there's no future for us after all, is there? 2. Join me, Carth. You can rule at my side, it's not too late.
Carth: I refuse to believe that! We'll...we'll stop you if we have to, all of us. We'll save you from yourselves! Carth: No, never! You're not the woman I love. We'll stop you if we have to, all of us.
1. Don't resist me, Carth, or I'll be forced to destroy you. 1. If you resist me, I'll destroy you all! 3. I guess I'll just have to kill you all, then. 2. All of you? Are you sure of that?
Bastila: Wait, Lord Revan. Carth speaks only for himself - he does not speak for the others. He may find he stands alone here! 2. Only you serve the Republic, Carth. You don't speak for the others.
Bastila: The droids will continue to serve you Revan - they are programmed to obey their master. And there may be others who will choose to join us. The Republic is doomed, Revan has returned! Who will now swear loyalty to the second coming of the Dark Lord?

Canderous[edit | edit source]

Canderous: You're Revan and I'll follow you anywhere. It doesn't matter who you're fighting against, I'll be at your side. Mandalorians don't have any great love for the Republic anyway. Light side, dark side - it doesn't make any difference to me, Revan. I'll stick by you no matter what comes.
Journal Entry Added Canderous
Canderous has said that he will stand by you no matter what path you take or what enemies you face.
Dialog
1. Mission, what about you? 2. Zaalbar, what about you? 3. Not everyone is willing to throw their life away for the Republic, Carth! 4. Not everyone is as foolish as you are, Carth!
Mission: I saw what the Sith did to Taris - anyone who serves the dark side is evil! Big Z and I are with Carth on this one!
Zaalbar: No, Mission. I am bound by the oath of my life debt. I... I must stand with Revan.
Mission: Zaalbar - Revan's a Sith! Just like Malak! It's not a betrayal if you break your life debt now!
Zaalbar: If I go back on my vow I am betraying myself, my people and my ancestors. I cannot do that. Please, Mission - join us.
Mission: No, Zaalbar. I don't care! I won't help the Sith against the Republic! Not for anything! Not even for you!
Carth: You don't have to help the Sith, Mission. Not while I'm here. I see now it was a mistake to let you go into that Temple. I of all people should have seen this coming. First Saul Karath, and now you... I mean, I should be an expert on betrayal by now! But nothing you can say or do can make me betray the Republic. I won't join you, and I won't just stand aside and let you become ruler of the Sith again, Revan!
1. You don't stand a chance against all of us, Carth. 2. Then I guess it's time for you to die! 3. It's too bad it had to come to this, Carth.
Carth: I... I'll find a way to save you, I swear! I won't give up on you... no matter what!
Carth: Run for it, Mission! Go! Go!
Bastila: Let him go! We have more important things to worry about. We have to get to the Star Forge and kill Malak. Then we can turn our attention to the Republic.

Mission and Zaalbar remain:

Dialog
Mission: No - this isn't happening! It can't be happening!
1. You're all alone now, Mission. Swear your loyalty to me! 2. Go on, Mission - get out of here. We don't want you anymore. 3. You should have run when you had the chance, Mission. 4. Now it's time for you to die, Mission.
Mission: No! I'm not going to just stand aside and do nothing! You'll... you'll just have to kill me. But I don't think you will.
Mission: I don't believe you've gone over to the dark side. Not totally. I don't think you'll kill me. Not if I don't attack you, first.
1. I won't kill you. But Zaalbar will, if I tell him to.
Zaalbar: I have sworn a life debt to you, Revan. I will serve you as long as I draw breath. I will not break my vow. But you cannot ask me to turn on my best friend.
Mission: Looks like you'll have to do your own dirty work, Revan - if you've got the guts!

Dialog
Zaalbar: [Success] I... I have no choice. The life debt is greater than any single life, it is a solemn vow of all my people. I cannot break it, not even for you. Forgive me, Mission.
Mission: Zaalbar, what are you saying? Revan can't force you to do anything you don't want to! It's me, Big Z - Mission!
Zaalbar: Mission, forgive me!!!
Mission: Please, Zaalbar - don't do this! Please! NO!!!
