You enter alone from Kolto Control through the south Airlock at the west end of an underwater trench, where once again firaxan sharks are a threat and can only be killed with a Sonic Emitter.

The Kolto Control Panel is to the east, and it can be used to poison the sea beast ahead (moving closer to the dark side of the Force when reported later), or destroy the harvesting machine: either allows you to cross the bridge over the Hrakert Rift and acquire the Star Map at its east end, before returning to Hrakert Station (and your party) through the north pressure door.

You may encounter Calo Nord or Darth Bandon in Hrakert Station as you return to the submersible, taking it back to the Republic Embassy to report to Roland Wann. Before opening the door to leave the Embassy, save game as you'll be arrested and taken to Ahto High Court, where you can be banned from the planet if you don't play your cards right...

Map of the Hrakert Rift

Kolto Control[edit | edit source]

Use the Sonic Emitter immediately upon exiting the pressure door from Kolto Control: the Firaxa swimming away to the left isn't an immediate threat, but it is within range. Another Firaxa approaches from the right.

Experience Points (XP) Received:

Ignore the pressure door in the north wall to the left for now, and go down the trench to the east on the right.

Kolto Control Panel[edit | edit source]

On the left side of the trench by its north wall is the kolto control panel, with the fuel injector pod to its left and the container pod to its right. There's a bridge over the Hrakert Rift itself to the east, beyond which a huge sea beast can be seen looming over the Star Map. Do not approach until you've used the control panel to poison it or destroy the harvesting machine. It's easiest to feed toxin into the vents, although this results in you moving closer to the dark side of the Force when you report it to Roland Wann:

However, it's almost as easy to access fuel tank pressure control and overload the fuel tanks, and aside from receiving more experience it's also much easier not to be banned from the planet when you return to the surface:

Journal Entry Added Mission for the Republic
You fed toxin into the machine and killed the giant firaxan shark. Unfortunately, it has had some effect on the kolto and it has now turned black. Hopefully it's only temporary…

You found one of the Star Maps in the ruins it had been guarding.
Journal Entry Added Mission for the Republic
You overloaded the fuel tanks for the kolto harvesting machinery and caused it to explode. With the machine gone, the giant firaxan shark lost interest and returned to wherever it had laired.

You found one of the Star Maps in the ruins it had been guarding.

As you cross the Hrakert Rift, you'll now see the sea beast floating to the south, clearing the path to the Star Map. If it's still alive:

[Now that the kolto harvesting machine has been destroyed, the great Firaxan shows no signs of hostility. It allows you to pass.]

Star Map[edit | edit source]

The Star Map is at the east end of the trench, on the other side of the Hrakert Rift.

Journal Entry Added Star Map: Manaan
You have acquired the Star Map from the Hrakert Rift on Manaan.

Journal Entry Added A Quest for the Star Forge
You've discovered another ancient Star Map beneath the oceans of Manaan. As before, the map is incomplete. But each map you find fills in more missing pieces of the puzzle. Hopefully, once you find all the Star Maps they will give you the location of the Star Forge.

Return to the west end of the trench.

One last look back at the Star Map, and the sea beast floating over the Hrakert Rift.

Hrakert Station[edit | edit source]

Beyond the pressure door in the north wall at the west end of the trench is the east airlock at the south end of Hrakert station's East Hallway B, where any party left at the west or central airlock will rejoin you.

Head north along the hallway, and as you exit Security Control to the west you may encounter Calo Nord if you haven't already done so since escaping Taris; Darth Bandon may be similarly encountered here after finding your third Star Map.

Republic Embassy[edit | edit source]

Use the submersible to return to the Republic Embassy on the surface, where Roland Wann awaits you in the corridor exiting the submersible bay to the east:

Roland Wann: You have returned! I was beginning to fear that you, too, might have been lost. Did you find out what had happened down there at the facility?
Dialog
1. The Selkath went insane.
Roland Wann: Insane? What did they do? And why?
1. They killed almost everyone on the Station.
Roland Wann: They killed... everyone? And the mercenaries we sent later? That is... horrible. What caused them to all go insane at once like that?
2. Your construction woke something up.
Roland Wann: Something was down there? Living in the Rift by the kolto?
1. A gigantic firaxan shark that drove all the Selkath insane.
Roland Wann: That's... horrible. The entire operation wasted by a disaster we could never in a thousand years have foreseen. What has happened to the facility itself? Were there any survivors?
1. A few scientists have survived.
Roland Wann: Well, that is good to know. Good to know indeed. But... What has happened to the facility? Was it damaged?
2. The harvesting machine was destroyed. 2. The kolto seems to have been contaminated.
Dark Side Points Gained: -4
Dialog
Roland Wann: No! That is terrible. That will set our work back years... *sigh* It may even cost us the war. While I am glad that you were able to solve our problems, the cost may have ended up being much too high. Roland Wann: Contaminated? That's... That's much worse than I would ever have thought possible. It might have been better to lose the entire facility rather than damage the kolto supply. This must remain entirely secret. We cannot allow anyone to find out that we damaged the kolto production or we would be banned permanently from the planet. We can only hope that the damage that was caused will go away in time.
Roland Wann: But you have done your job and helped us in our time of need, and for that I thank you. Oh, and did you end up finding your Star Map?
1. Yes I did. 2. None of your business!
Roland Wann: As you can see, by helping us you helped yourself. Perhaps we can work together again in the future. Roland Wann: I'll assume that means yes. As you can see, by helping us you helped yourself. Perhaps we can work together in the future.
Journal Entry Added Mission for the Republic
You told Roland Wann about the giant firaxan shark, the kolto, and what happened at the Hrakert station. He is glad that the situation has been resolved, but most distressed that you resorted to blowing up the machinery to do it. Hopefully now, though, the Republic will repair their base and things will get back to normal.

At least you managed to get the Star Map.
Journal Entry Added Mission for the Republic
You told Roland Wann about the giant firaxan shark, the kolto, and what happened at the Hrakert station. He is glad that you managed to save the machinery through your novel use of the toxin. Hopefully now they can send a proper rescue team down to the station and things will get back to normal. Except maybe for the kolto…

At least you managed to get the Star Map.

If you speak to him again, you can ask for a bribe to move closer to the dark side of the Force... and you can do so repeatedly:

Roland Wann: Greetings once again. I trust you have been discrete concerning the events at the Hrakert Rift. Should the Selkath obtain proof of what occured down there the consequences for the Republic would be severe. For both our sakes, I hope you are smart enough to keep silent on this matter. Truth be told, I am uncomfortable even with us being seen together. The rumors are already plentiful enough among the Selkath about the Republic's role in this.
4. Maybe a bribe would ensure my silence. Dark Side Points Gained: -2
Roland Wann: Don't be foolish! If the Republic's role in this is discovered, I will be sure the blame rests on your shoulders as well. We share a secret - and we will share the consequences if the secret is revealed. For both our sakes you should move on. Our conversation attracts undue attention.

Before opening the door to leave the Republic Embassy, save game. Selkath officers are lying in wait to arrest you, and you can be banned from the planet if you make a mistake during your trial:

Selkath Officer: Stop, human!
Dialog
Selkath Officer: We have detected a number of underwater detonations coming from the vicinity of the Hrakert Rift. Selkath Officer: The flow of kolto to the surface has been virtually cut off, with what does arrive corrupted.
Selkath Officer: You have been known to have asked questions about this, and our spy monitors in the Republic Embassy recorded you leaving in a submersible that descended to the Hrakert Rift. You will come with us immediately to answer for your actions, or we will be forced to take you by force!
1. You'll never take me alive! 2. Very well. I will come peacefully. 3. I haven't done anything!
Selkath Officer: Do not be foolish, little human! We have the entire armed forces of Manaan at our disposal. Should you attempt to resist, you would be overwhelmed before you ever reached your ship! Now come with us! Selkath Officer: That will be for us to decide, human!

You are taken to Ahto West to answer for your actions before the Ahto High Court

Ahto High Court[edit | edit source]

Dialog
Judge Kota: But if they can do that, the whole system could...
Judge Naleshekan: Silence! This is not for outsiders to hear!
Judge Shelkar: Well, human, you find yourself in a most difficult situation. The Hrakert Rift is the most precious resource on Manaan, and anything that threatens it or the kolto it produces threatens our entire species.
Judge Duula: We will not tolerate threats to our neutrality, our existence, and our way of life!
Judge Jhosa: As much as we may admire your Republic and your Order in particular, I believe you will have a hard time explaining your role in this incident adequately.
Judge Naleshekan: We have determined that you are responsible for the detonations that occurred near the Hrakert Rift. We demand to know what occurred down there! Judge Naleshekan: The flow of pure kolto has stopped coming up from the ocean floor. Your submersible arose at approximately the same time this occured. We have deemed you responsible!
Judge Duula: If the Republic has broken its neutrality treaty with us, the repercussions shall be very grave indeed!
Judge Shelkar: What have you done to the Rift? Judge Shelkar: What have you done to the kolto supply? We warn you, human - if you lie to us we will know!

Trying to persuade them using the Force never works, and using it a second time is the quickest way to be banned from the planet:

Dialog
link=Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic}}/Force powers#Affect Mind 1. [Force Persuade] Nothing happened down at the Rift. link=Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic}}/Force powers#Affect Mind 1. [Force Persuade] The kolto is just fine.
Judge Naleshekan: [Failure] Do not try to manipulate us with your powers, human! You have only one chance left to tell us the truth!
link=Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic}}/Force powers#Affect Mind 1. [Force Persuade] I am telling the truth.
Judge Duula: Enough of your lies!

Lying to them by trying to blame the Sith for what happened is a more convoluted way of doing so:

Dialog
2. [Lie] The Sith were trying to collapse the Hrakert Rift! 2. [Lie] The Sith were trying to poison the kolto supply!
Judge Naleshekan: [Success] The Sith were down at the Rift?!
Judge Jhosa: But how could the Sith have been there when we had...
Judge Naleshekan: What?
Judge Jhosa: When we... we monitor the Rift constantly. How could the Sith have approached it without us knowing?
1. [Lie] They had built a station down there already.
Judge Duula: [Success] I find that highly unlikely... How could we have missed such a large undertaking?
Judge Kota: Impossible! Our own sta...
Judge Duula: Our what?
Judge Kota: It is impossible... that's all...
2. [Lie] Maybe they have some sort of stealth field.
Judge Naleshekan: [Success] That they could smuggle onto Manaan without our knowing about it? Impossible!
Judge Shelkar: You fail to realize that if they had such a stealth field, we would not be able to detect them bringing it either.
Judge Jhosa: But that area is closely monitored... We would have detected any new vessels approaching it just by perturbations in the currents.
3. [Lie] Maybe some Selkath were helping them.
Judge Duula: [Success] Some... Selkath?
Judge Naleshekan: Selkath would not be helping off-worlders to disrupt our most valuable resources!
Judge Jhosa: Foreign... interests have been known to influence individuals before... Judge Jhosa: They have already attempted to seduce our young away from us... Who's to say they hadn't corrupted someone else?
Judge Duula: Have you seen this, human? Is this how you know of it?
1. There were many Selkath down there. 2. [Lie] I never actually saw... 3. [Lie] I don't know... It was crawling with Sith.
Judge Jhosa: This we know. What happened there, off-worlder? Judge Kota: [Failure] Enough of these games, human! We know about the station and our personnel there! What has happened to them?
Judge Naleshekan: We know?? Judge Naleshekan: Our what??
Judge Shelkar: Silence. It will be discussed later.
Judge Kota: Well, human? What REALLY occurred down there? Judge Kota: We know more than you think, human! Your lies do not fool us! I will warn you against lying to us again. Now, what REALLY occurred down there?
1. [Lie] It was the Sith. They tried to blow it all up. 2. [Lie] I really don't know exactly. 2. [Lie] It was the Sith. They poisoned the kolto.
Judge Jhosa: [Failure] Your lies only make the hole you dig yourself deeper, human!
Judge Shelkar: It is likely that you have sabotaged our efforts AND the facilities at the Hrakert Rift. For this you must pay the price. Judge Shelkar: It is likely that you have sabotaged our efforts AND the facilities at the Hrakert Rift, destroying the kolto. For this you must pay the price.
Dialog
Judge Naleshekan: How do we know this? What have you been hiding from us? What facilities??
Judge Shelkar: It is not an issue to be discussed among outsiders.
Judge Naleshekan: No! I demand answers! What has been happening down there?
Judge Jhosa: Our agreement with the Republic to research and synthesize kolto has nearly borne us disaster. That is all you need to know.
Judge Duula: The Republic... Why were we not informed?
Judge Shelkar: It was not necessary for you to know. Now keep your silence!

Rather than continuing to lie or feigning ignorance, you can admit to it and then start telling the truth (as you should do from the start):

Dialog
4. I've been lying... It wasn't really the Sith.
Judge Duula: What?
Judge Naleshekan: I knew it! It was the Republic, wasn't it!
3. The explosions were at the research station both our governments set up there. 3. I guess you'd find out anyway: the harvesting machinery released a toxin into the water.
Dialog
Judge Naleshekan: Research Station?! What are you talking about? Dont try to lie to us, human! Judge Naleshekan: Harvesting machinery?? What are you talking about?
Judge Shelkar: We know of this.
Judge Naleshekan: What?!
Judge Shelkar: It will be discussed later.
Judge Naleshekan: This cannot be kept silent! The Council will...
Judge Shelkar: The Council will hear nothing of this! And you will keep your silence or be ejected from the court!
Judge Naleshekan: But we cannot...
Judge Shelkar: Silence!
Judge Jhosa: What has happened at the research station? What caused the explosions? Judge Jhosa: What has happened to the research station? Why was this toxin released? If you were responsible, you will be banned from Manaan!

It's still possible to be banned:

Dialog
3. [Lie] The harvesting machine malfunctioned and exploded. 1. It's not my fault! The harvester malfunctioned!
Judge Jhosa: Malfunctioned?
Judge Kota: Impossible! That machinery was constructed by us to last a thousand years!
Judge Kota: Even if it did malfunction, the Hydrolium pressure would not have caused an explosion... unless it was deliberately set. Judge Kota: Even if it did malfunction, the Hydrolium fuel would not have contaminated the kolto supply. The pressure at the sea floor is insufficient to keep it as a liquid.
Judge Jhosa: What happened to the machinery, human? We will not accept excuses any longer! Judge Jhosa: What happened to the machinery, human? Someone must have injected the toxin into it... We will not accept excuses any longer!
3. I rigged it to destroy itself. 1. Okay, I did it. But you can't do anything to me - I know too much!
Judge Kota: You... YOU destroyed the machinery?! Judge Jhosa: You... you have destroyed the kolto? Why? Was our alliance with your Republic not good enough? Have you turned to this 'darkside' your Order seems obsessed with?
Judge Jhosa: You have ruined our efforts! All our work to synthesize kolto is worthless now! Judge Kota: You have destroyed any hope of peace for our world!
Judge Kota: Why did you do this... this thing, human? Judge Duula: We should kill this human and ban the entire Republic from Manaan completely!
3. I had no choice... but I can offer the data the Republic gained as compensation. 2. If you ban the Republic, the Sith will take over.
Judge Kota: A paltry appeasement! I say we should kill this human for the impudence (s)he has shown us, and the destruction of our station! Judge Kota: The human is right... Without the Republic to counter-balance the Sith, there would be no reason for them not to try to conquer us.
Judge Jhosa: No. If we are rash, then we may never get the information we need to synthesize kolto. Judge Shelkar: The Republic is a necessary evil it seems... but this particular human is not.
Judge Shelkar: This would seem to be a necessary evil... We agree, human. In return for this data, we shall not execute you. But you cannot go unpunished. Judge Naleshekan: We should kill him/her now! Before anyone knows!
Judge Shelkar: No, there are others who would notice his/her absence and begin asking... difficult questions.
Judge Shelkar: We will allow the Republic to remain on this world, but you must answer for your own actions. Judge Shelkar: We cannot ban the Republic for its actions, the Sith would gain too much, but we cannot let you go unpunished.
Dialog
1. The machinery had woken up a giant firaxan shark. 2. I wanted to kill a giant firaxan shark, so I poisoned it.
2. The entire station had been driven mad.
Judge Jhosa: Mad? I find that hard to believe, human.
Judge Kota: We did receive those transmissions just before the station went silent...
Judge Naleshekan: Ask the human what happened!
Judge Shelkar: Well, human? What drove all the sentients down there mad?
1. A giant firaxan shark was woken up by the harvester.
Judge Shelkar: And you destroyed the harvester to kill a giant firaxan... Judge Shelkar: The toxin was used against a giant firaxan...
2. Only the Selkath went mad.
Judge Naleshekan: You accuse us of being to blame for this? Judge Naleshekan: You dare accuse us of being to blame for the destruction of the kolto!? You impudent, off-world scum! We should...
Judge Shelkar: Calm yourself. We are more advanced than that. Why do you say that only we Selkath went mad?
1. A giant firaxan shark sent out some sort of psychic call.
Judge Shelkar: The explosion... to kill a giant firaxan? Judge Shelkar: The toxin was used against a giant firaxan...
2. Because they were all insane and had eaten everyone else... 3. They killed the scientists and the rescue teams the Republic sent down.
Judge Kota: But why? If the entire station was driven mad, as would seem to be the case, surely there must have been some evidence that something had transpired down there. What was it?
3. [Lie] I have no idea.
Judge Jhosa: [Success] Bah! This humans information is worthless! We have lost the facility on the bottom of the ocean. Our efforts will be exposed!
Judge Kota: If the entire station was driven mad, as would seem to be the case, surely there must have been some evidence that something had transpired down there. What was it?
2. [Lie] I have no idea. 3. [Lie] The station was empty.
Judge Jhosa: [Failure] We do not believe you, human! Tell us what you know or you will not leave here alive!
1. [Lie] I really don't know anything. 3. You couldn't kill me if you tried!
Judge Jhosa: [Failure] Your lies only make the hole you dig yourself deeper, human! Judge Naleshekan: We should kill him/her now! Before anyone knows!
Judge Shelkar: No, there are others who would notice his/her absence and begin asking... difficult questions.
Judge Shelkar: It is likely that you have sabotaged our efforts AND the facilities at the Hrakert Rift. For this you must pay the price. Judge Shelkar: We cannot ban the Republic for its actions, the Sith would gain too much, but we cannot let you go unpunished.

If you are banned:

Judge Shelkar: For your crimes against Manaan and the Selkath you are banned forever from this world, on pain of death!
1. You can't do this! 2. You won't get away with this! 3. But I've done nothing wrong!
Judge Jhosa: It is our duty to punish those who transgress our laws. We can do this... and we will! Judge Kota: We can and we will. Your Republic will not risk offending us. Not with the Sith as powerful as they are. Judge Naleshekan: Do not mock us, human!
Judge Jhosa: You have been found guilty, proving that you actually are.
Judge Shelkar: Guard! Eject the prisoner from the court!

You're returned to the cockpit of the Ebon Hawk. Although you can still dock on Manaan, the door to the docking bay is locked and cannot be opened:

[Access to Ahto City denied.]

However, this isn't a foregone conclusion...

Machinery destroyed[edit | edit source]

If you destroyed the machinery then telling them about the giant firaxan shark at any point allows you to retain the freedom of the city:

Dialog
Judge Naleshekan: A giant firaxan? Could it be... Impossible! It is only a legend.
Judge Jhosa: But (s)he said he killed it... didn't (s)he?
Judge Shelkar: You killed this shark, human?
1. I didn't kill the shark! 2. I destroyed the machinery to save it. 3. The machine was making it drive everyone mad.
Judge Jhosa: The Progenitor... it must have been!
Judge Duula: Be quiet! That is merely a myth, and not fit for outsiders to hear!
Judge Kota: But if it was the life-bringer... the ancestor of our species... Think of what this could mean!
Judge Jhosa: If it always laired there... then perhaps the kolto...
Judge Shelkar: Enough! Off-worlders are not to hear of such things!
Judge Kota: But (s)he said he saved it... He/She destroyed the harvesters to save it.
Judge Shelkar: Indeed. This casts your actions in a new light, human. This, I believe, will require more thought... both on your actions, and on what we must do in response. This court will adjourn while we deliberate.
Judge Shelkar: We have reviewed your actions and the situation, human. We thank you for the destruction of the machinery and saving the giant firaxan which, we believe, is the source of our kolto... or at least its guardian. We will not detain you any longer. While we cannot show our gratitude overtly, know that you have earned our respect. This trial is now over.

The next time you return to the West Central courtyard from the docking bay, if you speak to the Port Official then he tells you the docking fee is now 500 credits:

Dialog
Port Official: Welcome to Manaan. There will be a docking fee of 500 credits to access Ahto City at this time.
1. 500 credits? It used to be 100!
Port Official: You have been deemed disruptive to Ahto City trade. If you wish to enter, you must pay our fees.

However, the door to the courtyard is still open, so ignore this.

Toxin vented[edit | edit source]

However, telling them about the giant firaxan shark if you killed it will also result in being banned:

Dialog
Judge Naleshekan: A giant firaxan? Could it be... Impossible! It is only a legend.
Judge Jhosa: But (s)he said he killed it... didn't (s)he?
Judge Shelkar: You killed this shark, human?
1. I vented the toxin into the water. 2. The shark had driven everyone mad. 3. I had no choice.
Judge Jhosa: He/She killed the Progenitor!
Judge Duula: We do not know for certain if it was our mythical ancestor! None have seen it!
Judge Kota: What else could it be? It is the life-giver of our species...
Judge Jhosa: The human has destroyed everything! First our safety, with the kolto, now our entire history!
Judge Shelkar: Regain your control! We are not emotional and illogical like off-worlders! We can deal with this!
Judge Jhosa: No, no, no...
Judge Naleshekan: This thing... this human, should die for what they have done!
Judge Naleshekan: We should kill him/her now! Before anyone knows!
Judge Shelkar: No, there are others who would notice his/her absence and begin asking... difficult questions.
Judge Shelkar: We cannot ban the Republic for its actions, the Sith would gain too much, but we cannot let you go unpunished.

There's only one sequence of responses that allows you to retain the freedom of the city:

3. I guess you'd find out anyway: the harvesting machinery released a toxin into the water.
1. It's not my fault! The harvester malfunctioned!
1. Okay, I did it. But you can't do anything to me - I know too much!
1. If you ban us, I'll tell that the kolto is destroyed!
Dialog
Judge Jhosa: You... you would threaten us with that? It would destroy your Republic in the process!
Judge Kota: The Sith would no longer fear our destruction of the kolto, and would sweep through this sector unimpeded. You cannot be serious.
Judge Shelkar: Do not doubt their kind so much... the are not rational like us. I fear this human may do exactly that...
Judge Jhosa: We should kill him/her now! Before anyone knows!
Judge Shelkar: No, there are others who would notice his/her absence and begin asking... difficult questions. We cannot ban the Republic for its actions, the Sith would gain too much, but we cannot let you go unpunished.
Judge Kota: If we harm this human, it may yet tell what has happened!
Judge Shelkar: It would seem you have trapped us in your net human. We cannot punish you directly for what you have done, yet we cannot abide the fact that you go unpunished.
Judge Jhosa: But there is little we can do...
Judge Shelkar: As long as you keep this secret, human, we shall cooperate with you. But if you break your silence...
Judge Jhosa: Your death will be long and painful!
Judge Shelkar: Enough! You may leave human, and we shall never speak of this again.

Although you go unpunished, there are consequences. The cost of all Antidote Kits and Medpacs trebles throughout the galaxy: on the up side, this means they can now be sold on the Yavin Station for almost twice what they cost to buy beforehand (3 * 65 = 195%). If only you could go back in time to stockpile them...

Further, the Republic Hiring Mercenaries and Missing Selkath quests can no longer be activated or completed because the Selkath Nilko Bwaas and Shaelas won't talk to you. Finally, the next time you try to return to the West Central courtyard from the docking bay, the door will be locked again and the Port Official tells you the docking fee is now 500 credits:

Dialog
Port Official: Welcome to Manaan. There is a docking fee of 500 credits to gain access to Ahto City.
1. 500 credits? It used to be 100!
Port Official: We need to find other sources of revenue since kolto production has been so drastically scaled back.
4. Scaled back? Don't you really mean kolto production has been destroyed?
Port Official: How did you... uh, I mean...
1. Why did you lower kolto production? 4. Scaled back? Don't you really mean kolto production has been destroyed?
Port Official: For various political and economic reasons, the Selkath have limited the production of kolto. That is all you need to know, off-worlder. This is a Selkath matter, human - I won't discuss it with you anymore. Are you going to pay the 500 credit docking fee or not?

However, as before it's easy to persuade him you don't need to pay it at all by using the Force.

If you speak to Judge Shelkar again after being released, regardless of your actions in the Hrakert Rift:

Judge Shelkar: While we are not free to discuss the... incident, we remember your involvement in it quite well. What is it you wish to bring to my attention?
