Star Wars: Empire at War is a real-time strategy game set in the Star Wars universe, developed by Petroglyph Games (including many former members of Westwood Studios) and published by LucasArts for Windows and macOS in 2006. It uses an entirely new Alamo engine developed by Petroglyph. The most recent patch was released later in 2006.

Story[edit | edit source]

The single player game takes place between Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV - A New Hope. The player chooses to complete the game as either the Rebellion or the Empire. There is also a multiplayer mode to compete against other players.
