Summary

Implement Wikimedia as a key to the evolution of informational media on the web.

Proposal

Create WikiChannels for things like Education, TV, Foreign Countries, Local News, Hollywood, Sports, Weather, and etc. Also allow how-to videos related to certain topics (ex. IPod; How to Back Up Your IPod). Allow live streams of media from events like art shows, festival, fourth of July, shuttle launches, or etc.

Motivation

The need for organized, authentic media on the web.

Key Questions

How will you organize/sort/authenticate the media posted? Will there be restrictions to how-to videos or topics?

Potential Costs

Funding for more server space and media moderators.
