The purpose of this study was to analyze the usage of social media and electronic word of mouth (... more The purpose of this study was to analyze the usage of social media and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) by tourists in Teluk Kiluan, Lampung, and to examine their effect on revisit intention. The independent variables were the usage of social media and e-WOM, and the dependent variable was tourists' revisit intention. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to tourists. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis. The influence of social media and e-WOM on tourists' revisit intention was tested using the F-test to examine the simultaneous effect and the T-test to examine the partial effect. The results of the study showed that the use of social media by respondents was high. The use of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) by respondents was also high. The respondents' revisit intention was high. In addition, there was a fairly strong relationship between social media and e-WOM with revisit intention. The coefficient of determination showed that social media and e-WOM affected revisit intention by 45.1%, while the remaining 54.9% was influenced by other factors not included in this study. The hypothesis test results showed that social media and e-WOM had a simultaneous effect on revisit intention. The destination management organization (DMO) of the Teluk Kiluan as a tourist destination is recommended to continue developing and maintaining the quality of the tourist destination so that the tourists' expectations obtained through e-WOM meet the actual experience.

This study uncovers eight dimensions of innovative tourism technology by applying exploratory factor analysis. A variance-based structural equation model is used to evaluate the model and test hypotheses. This study reveals that the integrated TAM and TPB model can better explain smart tourism technology adoption and visiting tourism destinations. The integrated model is suitable for adopting smart tourism technology, which is the basis for tourist behaviour in tourist destinations. This study aims to determine the factors that affect women in their role as an entrepreneur in th... more This study aims to determine the factors that affect women in their role as an entrepreneur in the field of hotel and restaurant, how they overcome the factors that caused the barrier to their business, and how they apply positive factors in their strategy to run their business. Respondents in this study were 50 business women (entrepreneur) in the field of the accommodation and food, located in Jakarta and Bandung. The method used was descriptive method to describe or depict phenomena or relations among the phenomena studied systematically, factual and accurately. The variable in this study was the factors that affect women in developing their business, especially in the accommodation and food business. Subvariables in this study were four factors, i.e. family, education, capital and social. The results showed that the biggest deterrent factor is the capital, but they have their own strategies to overcome this factor. For other factors, namely family, education and social, the respondents revealed their positive factor towards business and capable of implementing the business strategy accordingly.

The results of this study show that community perceptions about ecotourism in Mount Leuser National Park are good or positive. The desire to participate also looks good, namely participation in working or doing entrepreneurship in the field of tourism, providing land, participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and safety, and participation in explaining tourist attraction objects. This study aims to determine consumer responses about Kopi Praja's cafe atmosphere, how high cons... more This study aims to determine consumer responses about Kopi Praja's cafe atmosphere, how high consumers 'buying interest is at Kopi Praja, and is there an influence of cafe atmosphere on consumers' buying interest in Kopi Praja. This type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the criteria of respondents who have visited Kopi Praja. This study used a sample of 100 respondents. The testing technique in this study is the validity and reliability test, while the data analysis technique uses descriptive techniques, by calculating the mean value, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and simple linear regression. The results showed that the cafe atmosphere in Kopi Praja was rated well by consumers, with the value of the indoor atmosphere slightly higher than the value of the outdoor atmosphere. Consumer buying interest in Kopi Praja is also high, and there is a moderate relationship between cafe atmosphere and buying interest in Kopi Praja. Cafe atmosphere affects consumer buying interest by 29.1%, while the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
Social media tweet is the marketing communication channel targeted to the consumers. The tweet @h... more Social media tweet is the marketing communication channel targeted to the consumers. The tweet @hrhbali, a luxurious hotel in Bali, analyzed and showed findings related to the dominant attribute proposed. This research was utilizing a mystery shopper to experience staying in the luxurious hotel and compare the attributes findings from the previous study to the experience of staying in the hotel. The results show that there are much detail and rich experiences compare with the previous research findings from the unstructured tweet dataset. This finding indicates that even though there is the right social media and channels of marketing communication, nevertheless, to deliver rich and detail experiences, stories should be written and delivered to netizen to improve the persuasiveness for the consumers to stay in the luxurious hotel.
