Reflections
It's almost the end of the year with just 2 more weeks to go we step into the new year. Does anything change after that? Not really, and yet we look forward to as if there are going to be some new beginnings for us. It's the energy of this period that creates this magic and why not capitalize on it, because again in a few days time we will set into the mundane energies. Well, I am not the person who believes in making new year resolutions and all, for me it's an ongoing thing, but yes I do like to take a stock of my yearly progress and review my goals and what I have achieved and what has been missed.
I am reviewing at my activities and for this year I feel that I have done pretty good, I have managed to do a lot of work from which some of it was planned and quite a lot of new activities have emerged during the year which has been taken care of. I feel good about it that overall it's been a constructive year and also a very emotionally stable one. There have been highs and lows but I have managed them well. This year I also focused a lot on physical fitness and have been able to maintain my fitness level. The reason why I am saying this is because I am going through my menopause phase and with that there is a lot of hormonal imbalance. Thanx to my Son who has been assisting me keeping all of this in control with his guidance. He is a functional medicine practitioner and her guides me on my health care.
The one thing that I missed in this year is a family holiday that we were planning to Africa. I am not disappointed with it, because in it's place we did some more important things which were financial priorities and hence no regret. Where family time is concerned, we are good with that, holiday can always happen at a later time.
Time is just flying away, every year when I reflect back I feel like the year just started and it has already ended. Trying to make the most of my time and I am happy and satisfied with the way 2024 has gone for me overall.
