Lily - Ching-Chou Kuik

Good afternoon and welcome to my new follower Chana. Thank you all so much for the lovely comments you have been leaving, they really brighten my days. I am still on the sick atm with post shingles pain, fortunately affecting my left shoulder and upper arm, so I am still able to type and colour.
I have to admit to filling my days buying lots of new crafty stuff and making a few cards as I need 3 for February birthdays.
I have used another Ching-Chou Kuik image 'Lily' for today's card.

She is cut with Tattered lace ovals. The butterfly corners are Memory Box and the backing paper is from Michele Roos 'Butterflies and Humming Birds'. I added frantage to the cut butterflies and some glitter to the stamens of the lilies. The gems and ribbon are from my stash.

She is coloured with a mixture of Promarkers and Flexmarkers with a little Prisma pencil for added detail. The background is again made using my E Brush and Pebeo masking gum.

The inside does match the front.

Naughty Nurse - Kenny K - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning everyone, and welcome to my new follower, so glad you joined us.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the theme is 'Lot's of Layers'. Don't forget it doesn't have to be Christmas themed at the moment.
I used the really cute 'Naughty Nurse' image from Kenny K, who is one of our sponsors this week.

Now wouldn't the men love her to be nursing them.  She is coloured with Promarkers and then fussy cut and added to straight cut layers. The papers are from Nitwits. Matt gold mirror board and ribbon from my stash.

She is coloured with promarkers.

The inside does match the front. I was lucky enough to get 3 of the new lace dies from Joanna Sheen before they sold out. These dies are amazing. Designed to match to make long pieces and they literally drop out of the die when cut.  The Sentiment was computer generated, and mounted on a SB long scalloped rectangle.

As I said Kenny K is one of our sponsors this week and he is offering the winner 3 digi's of their choice from his shop

Our other lovely sponsor is Little Claire

Prize details to follow.

My other teamies have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week, I hope you will take the time to check them out here

Dark Lilies - Ching-chou Kuik

Just for a change I made a card for fun.  I have used a Ching-chou Kuik image called Dark Lilies that I think is absolutely gorgeous. She has such soulful eyes.

She is straight cut and layered up on 3 different pastel mirror boards.  The corner is from Tattered lace. The backing paper, ribbon, heart slider and gems are from my stash.

She is coloured with promarkers and I added white gel pen for more definition.  I glazed her eyes with glossy accents and then stickles to the bird and flower stamens.

I created the background around her with my Craftwell E-brush, still waiting to get the Promarker attachment for it, but they are planning on releasing one. You get 3 Spectrum Noir pens with the brush fortunately a blue and a green which I blended together on the paper. I totally adore this tool and used Pebeo Drawing Gum to mask her off before spraying. This then just rubs off to reveal the image, much quicker than making a mask. (available from Crafters Companion)

The inside does match the front.

Paddy - Mo's Digital Pencil - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning everyone and welcome to a moaning Eileen again :).  What I thought was Chicken Pox turns out to have been Shingles, and oh boy do I know it now, with excruciating pain travelling down my arm and under my shoulder blade. Needless to say I am popping pills continuously, using heat plasters, even tried a tens machine but that didn't work. The only thing that does work quickly is having a hot shower, but the relief wears off quite quickly.

Anyway enough moaning. Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where our lovely Lou has chosen the theme 'New Beginnings'. So it can be new house, baby, job etc. This is a card I made a few weeks ago for a colleague who was changing jobs.  It's Paddy from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Isn't he just the cutest boy ever? He is straight cut and mounted onto co ordinations card.  The papers are all from Nitwits and the sentiment is computer generated. The ribbon and candy are from my stash.

He is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Tria markers. I also added Prisma pencil for more definition. The background was made using MB clouds to mask areas then filled in with soft aqua Flexmarker.

The inside did match the front.

We have a wonderful sponsor this week as Digi Stamp Boutique are offering a £10 voucher to the winner.

The other Promarker girls have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week, I hope you will take the time to visit their blogs here. Don't forget to enter you must used Letraset products (Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Tria markers, Aqua markers, Neon Markers or Metallic Markers).

Wryn Spring Bling - Tiddly Inks - Winter Wonderland DT

Wow I can't believe it's a month since my last blog. Welcome to my new followers and thank you for joining me with blogger. Thankfully I am now recovered from having Chicken Pox. I hope you had a good Christmas and that the new year brings lots of happiness.
Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the theme is ' Show us some metal'.  This can be charms, brads, eyelets or anything else you can think of.  For my metal I used lots of metallic mirror board.

I used Wryn Spring Bling from Tiddly Inks for my card. I have to admit I have had her coloured up for a few weeks.  For a change I made a stepper card in matt gold card and then layered her up on shiny gold. The sentiment is from Marianne designs as are the trees.

To colour her I used a mixture of Promarkers and Copics, and added some white pen for highlights

The poinsettia is from Memory Box with the petals paper pieced in red glitter card. The star is from Joanna Sheen, and gems from my stash.

We have a wonderful sponsor this week

who are kindly offering 1 lucky winner
£10 voucher to spend in their online store
We are still in our non-Christmas Creations period so it doesn't have to be festive but of course if you want to get ahead then why not???

The other girls have made some beautiful cards for your inspiration this week and you can find them here. We have a new member on the design team, Lena,  so I hope you will say hi to her.
