Businesses searching for a flexible and customizable Document Management System that runs on AWS cloud
About FormKiQ
FormKiQ is a new way to manage documents in the cloud, using a powerful Open Source API paired with a dynamic ReactJS web client, both of which you can build on and extend. You can add FormKiQ to an existing application or product or install and run it as a full-featured electronic document management system on its own,
with as little or as much customization as you need.
NOTE: along with Pro and Enterprise versions, there is a free open-core version, FormKiQ Core, that provides the essential features of a document management system.
What makes FormKiQ stand out from other document management software is that it is highly flexible and customizable, due to being designed and built with API-First principles and using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This allows a level of customization and flexibility that is far beyond what other electronic document management systems can offer, and that's a good reason why tech-oriented companies across a wide range of industries are choosing FormKiQ.

"Solid Foundation with Tons of Potential" Posted 2023-01-13
Pros: This system is light weight, easy to use, and has everything you need to build an infinitely customizable document management solution for any industry. We are using it for a case management system for a law firm and dealing with millions of documents, and FormKiQ has allowed us to innovate in ways we never could before.
The best part about it is the support. Mike and Regan are quick to respond to questions, highly knowledgable about all the technology involved, and never fail to find a solution to any issue that comes up.Cons: Very infrequently, we will bump up against a problem that the software doesn't yet have a feature to address. This is a rare thorn in our side, but the product is new and growing rapidly. The up side is that everything on our wishlist is also on the development roadmap, and Mike and Regan always work closely with us to understand our needs as they design new features.
Overall: Our experience with FormKiQ has been 100% positive so far. The pricing is fair, especially considering how excellent the support is. The technology is solid, feature-rich, and getting even better every day.

"Great customization for our business needs" Posted 2023-01-05
Pros: FormKiQ provided the exact solution as needed, including a custom module to run a credit check on the applicant. They are quick to respond to questions and support requests, and have very deep knowledge of their tool and the AWS cloud.
Cons: The web interface wasn't as turn-key as we wanted at first, with more coding required to add our branding. But they were quick to provide a solution that was an enhancement to FormKiQ itself, rather than charging us for changes.
Overall: I was very happy working with FormKiQ, and would definitely look at expanding our leasing solution with additional modules as the opportunity presents.

"Great and practical headless Document Management System" Posted 2022-12-23
Pros: Self-contained backend service that we easily embedded in our application, wrapping in our own REST API's. Provides a UI for admin and testing, but we are using in a headless mode, integrated into our large microservice architecture. Has the core features we need and is not bloated by other things we don't care about. Saved time and de-risked this component of our project, allowing us to focus on building our differentiators. Fast, extremely inexpensive to run in AWS serverless - both functions and database. Great support from the FormKiQ team, in response to requests to extend features.
Cons: We extended the query/searching capability, engaging the FormKiQ team. Would like to see some metadata support for attributes and tags.
Overall: Using it as a headless document management system, integrated into our own microservice architecture. Very smooth integration into our project and our platform.
