Several variables that affect this power transfer are investigated namely axial separation, planar separation, coil geometry, magnetic shielding, resonating arrangement and impedance matching. Experimentation is developed throughout to achieve results for the following goal statements: 1) numerical laboratory study for computation of resistance and inductance of the resonator coils, 2) computed extraction of equivalent impedances and S21 parameter for series and parallel LCR arrangements, 3) comparison of extracted scattering parameter against AC circuit and full-wave simulations of two-coil setup, 4) investigation of effect of shielding (e.g. for passenger safety) on resonant coupling, and the development of an equivalent circuit model for laboratory verification, and 5) exploration of factors affecting load matching in real, lossy environment.

This paper examines major categories, operative principles and limitations of these converters. It then reviews specifications and comparative advantages. The work concludes with a view of likely futuristic trends and industrial topologies.

The base system comprises group of induction motors (3.3 and 0.415 kV) fed through transformers by synchronous generators and 11 kV grid. Loadflow and fault analyses (3P, 2P, 2P-E, 1P-E) were conducted. Results were compared with manual circuit reduction as well.

It lacks an abstract, introduction and conclusion, as it was part of a larger compendium discussing several countries.

It looks at the general principles involved in one particular technique designated as “cyanobacterial photosynthesis” and then explains the advantages and challenges
encountered in this context.
