saturday critters
He's having a rough day. I met him when I was heading to the beach. It was just starting to rain and he just stood there staring at me. Then I took his photo.
I said, see you later and he growled. :)

theme day - photo of the year
I picked this photo for the kindness illustrated by this woman walking an older man so he can enjoy being outdoors for a bit. A walk, even a short one, can be so appreciated from a person who doesn't get outside much especially in these covid times. I took this photo back in late July.

house by the lake
on our walk last week to Dungloe Lake, we saw this house in the distance and decided that would be our destination. It took about 45 minutes to get there. The hills around there are very rocky so the rocks that we saw around the house looked like they were there naturally and maybe bleached. I could be wrong but it was interesting to see regardless. We didn't see any people so we don't know if the house was finished or inhabited.

balancing act
that is a pretty good load this guy was carrying. Three small crates of fruit or veggies and a big bag of Irish carrots on his shoulders. Definitely not for me, I have a rolling backpack and that works fine for the big stuff.

Slí na Sláinte
means "Path of health". It is an initiative developed by the Irish Heart Foundation, with the aim to encourage and increase the number of people walking. It provides an easy accessible and inexpensive environment for regular exercise for walkers throughout the country.
Yellow signs on blue poles are placed at one-kilometre intervals along each established walking route. These signs allows walkers to keep track of how far they walk and the signs are not numbered so walkers can start and finish at whatever point they like.
