A little Bit About Me

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at [email protected]. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

September 11 and Pink Saturday

This is a day of somber, a day to remember all that we lost. I am forgoing my regular pink post to honor those that lost their lives today. America is a country we should all be proud of.  God Bless America and all her fallen hero's.
I designed this creamy white tassel for a client and thought how appropriate to show and share an angel.
This day nine years ago, many angels went to God. I hope that each of us takes a minute to think about the sacrifice that was made and is made each day by those serving to keep us safe.
Thank you Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for taking the time to bring us together each week. I look forward to posting my pink next week and I would love to wish each and every one of you a very Happy Pink Saturday!!

Thanks for your visit, my friend. As a Canadian, I too will remember! Like millions of others, I too recall where I was and what I was doing that day! I remember shedding many tears that day and giving thanks for the safety of my loved ones. God bless both America and Canada! And God bless the heroes and their families! Happy Pink Saturday.

Blessings,
Sandi

I still think about that day as I watch in horror before I left for work. There were so many lost that day. You pray for those lives lost and hope to not see another day like that, but with all the craziness in our world you don't know. I think about you and my family that lives in a suburb of Phoenix every time I hear about the problems in Arizona that you will be safe. Have a great weekend. We are in a tornado watch unitl 1 A.M. Your Missouri Friend.

Oh Char sweetie...
Beautiful share today. Just beautiful. I love the angel tassel and yes there were many guide angels that day helping take some souls home, and guiding some from the smoke filled buildings. Your angel is SO beautiful and your client will adore her. She is exquisite, as is everything that you make sweet friend. You have so many talents.

We will none of us ever forget. EVER.

I pray that you are well. Have a beautiful weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Hi Char,

Senseless loss of lives..so much anguish that will never go away for all that were left behind that horrible day.

I vote NO for this mosque to be built...sadly so far no one is listening to the majority these days..the Americans are speaking loudly about a lot of things these days and it's all going to deaf ears in Washington.

What a mess it's all become...today is supposed to ONLY be about remembering the thousands of innocent souls that were lost 9 years ago today but it's not this year. The muslims don't care about showing respect or honoring our losses..If they did they would have stayed home today.
