February is already here and we have a new sketch for you. In january we had over 40 people with us, and that is so fun and inspiring to us:-) Hope many of you will join us this month aswell.
Before we move on we want to thank Finnabair for joining us with so much inspiration!

This months sketch is designed by Nabon. A lovely winter feel sketch, but you can of course use it in any way you like:-)

This month Studio Tekturek are joining us as a sponsor. Their papers are so fresh and cool and we really recommend a visit to their blog. The selected scrapper this month and Laetitia have made layouts using their papers. And next month many more from the design team will show of their papers:-)

We are proud to present this months SUS; Riika Kovasin

I'm really honored to be guesting at Skissedilla! I'm a Finnish mixed media style scrapbooker with a passion to have my fingers inked on weekly basis. I live in Helsinki together with my supportive husband and our two lovely daughters. My family is a constant source of inspiration and  also the main subject on my pages.
I'm happiest when I can get messy with different paint media and create a piece of memory keeping at the same time! What a perfect combination! I've been doing pages about four years now but discovered my passion for inks, paints and layering about year and a half ago. I love creating my own backgrounds, leaving my own hand print in them and making them "my own". For me the process of creating is equally important than the end result. Besides layouts  I also love to create minialbums, cards and canvases.

Thank you for having me! If you'd like to visit me, my blog is Paperiliitin (Paperclip) at paperiliitin.blogspot.com. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Please, come and say hi!

Rikka has used papers from this months sponsor Studio Tekturek. She has also made a video tutorial on how she made this fun layout.

Og nå over til designteamets LOer:

I have used some of the papers from Studio Tekturek.

The prize this month is from Studio Tekturek and the winner will receive on of their paper collections.

A New Year, new sketch and a new Selceted Scrapper!

First thing first is to say Happy New Year everyone!! We hope this will be an amazing Dilla year and we have of course fantastic sketches to share with you all this year! :)

We have a fantastic and well know Selceted Scrapper for our first month of this year and that's faboulus Anna Dabrowska aka Finnabair!! Here's a bit about her..

My name is Anna Dabrowska, also known as Finnabair (pronounced Finavar). I was born in Warsaw, Poland, now I live in Ireland.I'm a woman of many interests: a mixed media artist, scrapbooker andart  journaler who loves new challenges, experiments and developing new techniques and skills. I've been creating since 2007, started scrapbooking in 2008-2009 and mixed-media in 2009 when I got totally addicted.

My projects are mostly media-based: I make paper and canvas layouts, collages and altered art, tags, journal pages – and many more. I believe in power of recycling and upcycling and just adore texture, paints of any kind and flea market supplies. Freedom, embracing creativity and being true to your inner voice is my main source of inspiration and creative energy.

I'm a full time designer and artist and as an experienced traveling teacher I offer a range of my own mixed media-based classes incollage, scrapbooking, art jouraling and more. I create as a freelance designer for scrapbooking magazines (from Russia, Sweden, USA, GreatBritain, Germany and France) and international shops. I design projects, products and work with such international brands as Prima Marketing (design team member since 2011 and product designer since2013), Sizzix UK (design team member since 2012) and 7 Dots Studio (product designer since 2011). In the end of 2013 I've also opened with my husband European online store - Mixed Media Place - dedicated to those of us who fell in love in collage, journals, altering andanything mixed-media based!

Sketch # 200

Yey! Finally spring is here! Well I bet there is still a lot of snow some places but not long from now flowers will pop up and birds will sing:-) Just love this time of year!

New month means a new Selected Scrapper, and it's Maria who's playing with us in March:-)

"My name is Maria Patapovich. I live with my family (my husband and our children) in Minsk (the capital of Belarus). I have higher technical education, but since childhood I loved creativity in all its forms. I attended music school (fortepiano) and sang in the choir. Now I’m cutting the pieces of paper and putting the stamp marks all day long...)))
I like to make notebooks, shadow boxes most of all, but recently I fell in love with LOs & art journals.
Most of all in scrap I like using of stamps. They are my favorites.
I'm honored to be Skissedilla's selected scrapper this month."
Also check out her blog: http://mellpellmell.blogspot.ru/
