I didn’t want a desk space smack in the middle of our main living area. I knew it would be messy all the time and just collect the junk. So we ripped it out. I tried a few different pieces of furniture there over 2 years and nothing seemed to work. Then I had an idea! What if I built a coffee bar. Pitched it to my husband and he was on board, but I was very pregnant and didn’t want to spend a fortune on a custom build. Naturally, I went to Pinterest, which lead me Facebook marketplace where I searched for weeks for just the right piece. I found this old TV cabinet that fit the space perfectly.
