I believe too many links have been added on this edit. I prefered to discuss it here, before deleting the best part of them, boldly. Huji 14:05, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I copied them over from EnWP. That is also where I got the idea for the stub. Please be bold, and delete what you think does not fit. --Eptalon 15:24, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well I knew the links where coming from EnWP. However, although I think the links are useful by their selves, I think many of them do not fit the needs of a person reading "Simple English", and, that the best part of the article shouldn't be the links part, but the content (context) portion. But as I am not an expert in this area, I think you could be a better person choosing which links to keep. Huji 17:42, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
When I created the article, I marked it as stub. It only containms the most basic information. The article in enWP is like 30kb long. So I think the best way to go ahead would be to extend the article. I am also not in this field, so it is not for me to decide, which of the links are better than others. I wrote the stub, basted on the first paragraph of the enWP article. And no, please do not copy over that article. This is not enWP. --Eptalon 19:07, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Huji 18:48, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unsure if correct

This starts by saying the Torah was translated first, okay. But then when talking about the translation of the other books of the Hebrew Bible, it says "After 350 years, the Church translated all the books of the Old Testament". Was it the Christian church or Jewish community? I thought it was the Jewish community, but this will probably need to be verified. Batrachoseps (talk) 12:53, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
