Shinji Kaneko (金子 慎二, Kaneko Shinji, born April 3, 1987) is a former Japanese football player.

Kaneko started his career as a defender and midfielder for Vegalta Sendai, before moving to FC Ryukyu in 2009.[1] After two years, he moved to Zweigen Kanazawa in 2011.[2]
