"Negaraku" (Jawi: نڬاراكو, Malay pronunciation: [nəgaraku]) is the national anthem of Malaysia. The lyrics were written by Tunku Abdul Rahman, its tune is based on the regional anthem of the state of Perak, "Allah Lanjutkan Usia Sultan". The anthem was first preformed on 31 August 1957.[1]
