Nebraska State Capitol, the seat of the Nebraska Legislature The Nebraska Legislature is the highest legislative body of the U.S. state of Nebraska . It meets at the Nebraska State Capitol in the City of Lincoln in Lancaster County . It is built in the Art Deco style .
Nebraska's Legislature is unusual because it is unicameral , unlike all the rest of the U.S. state legislatures. It is also the smallest state legislature in the United States of America, as it only has 49 members.
